Rachelle has a swamp in the backyard that she thinks causes a musty smell in her crawl space during summer months. She wanted the smell to be taken care of and get her crawl space encapsulated. We first installed Drainage Matting to direct any water to the sump pump to be expelled out of the area. We then installed CleanSpace to keep out water vapor, pests, and humidity. 

This home in Vermontville, MI has a dirt floor crawl space that was an addition built underneath a porch. The homeowners contacted us looking to insulate and encapsulate the area. Both of these are very beneficial to the home to keeping the home comfortable year-round—with encapsulation providing a vapor barrier and insulation to prevent mold and moisture problems.

SilverGlo insulation was installed in this crawl space to provide a radiant barrier. Made with tiny graphite particles that reflect heat, this lowers the material's conductivity, reflecting heat back into the space. This not only keeps the cold out of the space, but also maximizes energy savings.

After our team insulated the crawl space, we installed a CleanSpace liner across the floor. Since the liner is 20mil thick made from many layers of polyester cord reinforcement, it’s durable and can be walked on. Installing CleanSpace provides a barrier for water vapor, and its antimicrobial additive prevents mold growth.

Matt called us because he had water and moisture in the crawl space. There was no sump pump and no mold but he wanted to make sure no mold started to grow. We used Drainage Matting to direct water to the sump pump to be expelled outside of the home. The TripleSafe sump pump keeps water out even in cases of a pump malfunction or a power outage. The vapor barrier, CleanSpace, prevents water vapor, pests, and humidity from entering the crawl space. It also prevent mold growth to keep the space safe and clean. Lastly, the SaniDry Sedona is a small dehumidifier that keeps the crawl space dry while also filtering the air.

Mike and Bethany were having water issues in their crawl space. They decided to go with our team even after receiving several different quotes. We installed CleanSpace, a plastic sheet material used as a vapor barrier to restrict all moisture, outside air, and pests from entering your crawl space. CleanSpace will keep water/moisture from entering their crawlspace. Then we installed the SaniDry XP Basement Dehumidifier to remove any water vapor already in the air. This dehumidifier  never needs to be emptied because the water drains automatically. Also, it is ten times more powerful than typical dehumidifiers.

Nila was looking to find a solution to her cold floors. She decided to contact Ayers and have an inspection done of her home. The team at Ayers concluded that cold air from the crawl space was causing the cold floors. The team suggested CleanSpace to eliminate all of Nila's problems. CleanSpace utilizes a heavy-duty plastic liner that lined Nila's crawl space. CleanSpace eliminated Nila's cold floors, and her crawl space looked stunning!
