Don was looking to fix up his crawl space since he was worried about the protection of his home, so he started searching for solutions. He discovered Ayers had the right kind of solutions to offer so he gave us a call. We had a crew go out to his home for a free inspection. Our System Design Specialists advised him to have us install SmartJacks and CleanSpace and he decided to have us go forward with the installations!

First with SmartJacks, this is a supplemental support system meant for crawl spaces that will support sagging beams and floor joists. It is installed by attaching steel support beams to the floor joists and a sturdy base at the floor. We also installed CleanSpace which is a thick, durable plastic liner with a vapor barrier property that will protect his crawl space from excess water or moisture development. It is placed on the crawl space floor and along the walls. It is even made of antimicrobial material so it will prevent nasty mold or bacteria growth.

We came to their home and fully insulated their crawlspace from the outside environment. CleanSpace is the ultimate insulating technology. CleanSpace is a 20 mil thick plastic liner that fits to the crawl space to completely seal the home from the earth. Polyester cord reinforcement allows for a lot of durability, to make it last longer than the home will. This liner also contains an antimicrobial additive to prevent mold. Our team of experts decided to install SilverGlo panels, CleanSpace and an EverLast door.

We first installed the SilverGlo wall panels that reflect heat back into the space and prevent drafts in the home. These wall panels are made from inorganic materials that make them moisture and mold resistant.

The waterproof and vapor proof CleanSpace liner was installed next to seal the crawl space off from any type of moisture. The liner is extremely durable and securely fastened to the walls to prevent it from falling down or becoming damaged over time. 

Lastly, we installed an EverLast crawl space door to create an airtight barrier between the outside environment and the crawl space. The door is waterproof and made with inorganic materials that will protect it from rust, rot and mold.
