Adam bought his home in Clio, MI, in 2020. He never looked in the crawl space until the summer of 2024 when he heard a critter inside. Concerned, he tried to fix the old black tarp barrier to keep out debris and block the entry. After several attempts with no success, Adam decided to call Ayers for help. Now that the crawl space is encapsulated, Adam enjoys the warmth of the floors above. He no longer worries about water entry or critters, making their home a more comfortable place to live.

Stacy noticed mold growing in her crawl space and knew mold attaches to and consumes organic material such as wood. After researching her options, Stacy called Ayers for help, and our specialists visited her home to assess the situation. They recommended installing CleanSpace, a vapor barrier lined with antimicrobial material to prevent mold growth. CleanSpace entirely encapsulates the crawl space to eliminate moisture entry as well. Brian's basement and crawlspace were in dire need of waterproofing and presented many of the issues crawl spaces in Michigan have; it was moist, leaking, and filled with critters. As you can see, humidity in this crawl space led to mold, rot, and leaky ducts. This is caused when condensation forms on cold surfaces like ducts and pipes.

We helped this owner insulate and seal their extensive crawl space to solve these problems. We installed our CleanSpace system to stop water vapor from entering through the soil and the crawl space walls. Before installing the bright white CleanSpace liner, we laid out drainage matting to provide a waterproof barrier between the exposed soil floor and Brain's basement. The liner is engineered with an inorganic material that prevents mold and bacteria growth, protecting Brian and his family from illnesses like asthma or allergies.

Fred was looking to get his crawl space area encapsulated to help keep his home better protected. He called Ayers and we had a crew conduct a free inspection so we could recommend the right solutions. These recommendations being CleanSpace and SuperSump Plus. CleanSpace is a thick, plastic liner we place over the crawl space floor to protect it from excess moisture that leads to mold or bacteria growth. Next we added SuperSump Plus in case he ever experiences occasional water leaks since this will take care of 2200 gallons of water an hour at an 8 foot head. Fred was very pleased with the results as his crawl space is now in much better shape!

It is waterproof and much more effective than a regular tarp you can buy from the store. The Drainage Matting we put under the liner will catch any water leaking and direct it to the sump system as well.
