This homeowner had some concrete on the sidewalk leading to their front door that was not level. He was worried about it being a tripping hazard for people walking to the door. We had an easy, fast solution for them! We used PolyLevel to lift up the fallen concrete and take away the risk of someone tripping. PolyLevel is an injectable foam that goes under the concrete to help lift it back up the original position. It is waterproof so it won't get washed out and it wont drain harmful chemicals into the soil. The best part is that PolyLevel cures in about 15 minutes so it won't disrupt the homeowner or the home!

The customer called when a concrete slab outside of his garage sank, causing a brick ledge to completely separate in the process and be in danger of falling over.

Don had a major section in the driveway that was settling, creating an uneven tripping hazard. Worried about his family's safety, he called Ayers for concrete repair options. The process to level the concrete began with using PolyLevel to lift and level the driveway slabs. PolyLevel is a lightweight foam injection made through small holes in the concrete. This injection is strong and waterproof. Next, NexusPro Crack Repair is used to seal the actual cracks in the driveway. This solution consists of a flexible silicone sealant that will not crack or dry. Michigan weather is one of the harshest climates for concrete.  Whether roads or driveways, cracking and sinking is bound to happen due to the many freezing and thawing cycles that Michigan throws at us.  One of the best ways to fix and prevent sinking concrete is with a foam solution called PolyLevel.  PolyLevel is injected under the cement slab through a small incision and acts as an expanding foam to fill in any gaps return the concrete back to its normal self.  The foam then hardens, allowing for the empty space to be controlled and prevent any future sinking or cracking.

PolyLevel worked to raise and level out the concrete slabs while dealing with the weak soils below that were no longer able to hold the weight of the home above. We drilled multiple small holes into the concrete slabs in order to inject them with a polymer material that expanded to lift and level out the concrete. Once injected, the system only needed about 15 minutes to fully cure and the slabs were then stabilized and lifted to their proper level, and stronger than ever before. Now, this homeowner will not have to worry about this ever again.
