Trudy noticed her stone basement walls had large, deep cracks in them. The cracks allowed moisture entry, and she couldn't tolerate it anymore, so she called Ayers for help. We sent a team of professionals to her home to examine the space and see what we could do. They suggested Shotcrete, a solution that applies a concrete or mortar wet spray through a high-pressure hose to fill a form or repair damaged surfaces. Trudy loves her new walls!

Phyllis worried about the cracks in her driveway's concrete slabs, as they protruded out and could be a safety concern. She decided to call Ayers and learn more about our concrete repair solutions. Our experts visited her home to inspect the driveway and suggested an advanced mud-jacking process called PolyLevel. This process injects polymer foam into voids underneath the concrete slab through pea-sized holes, which then expands to raise the slab to the desired level. Phyllis loves her driveway's new look.

Much like our Michigan roads, driveways and sidewalks are often cracking and deforming all throughout the year.  Driveways and sidewalks may not be subject to mass amounts of cars and trucks driving on them but soil movement can displace the concrete slabs over time.  Once the soil starts moving, concrete begins to crack and move around to create deformities.  At Ayers Basement Systems, we recommend using a product called PolyLevel to fix the moving soil under the concrete and bring it back to normal.

Jeff noticed the beginning stages of his back patio starting to become uneven as the soil beneath it was causing it to separate. He made the right call by choosing Ayers to come fix it. We decided on installing PolyLevel and NexusPro Joint Sealant after an inspection was made. The PolyLevel solution will raise and level the concrete with the small, lightweight, foam injections we make in the slab. Then we use NexusPro Joint Sealant to actually fill and seal the cracks so that water or debris won't degrade the slabs from below. Tyler W. was looking for a permanent solution for the settled sidewalk outside of his home. The sidewalk settled because of weak soils beneath the concrete slabs, and without an effective fix, the issue would continue to worsen over time. We used the specialized polymers in the PolyLevel system to raise and level the sunken slabs. The polymers were injected into the concrete and then expanded to lift it back to its proper level.
