A homeowner in Canton, MI noticed that over the last year, their driveway had more cracks than ever before. They wanted to seal these cracks and raise areas of the concrete that had sunk over time. Ideally, the driveway would be protected from cracks in the future, too. They plan to be in this home for the next ten years, until their child graduates. The homeowner called HomeSpec Waterproofing and Foundation Repair for a free estimate.

Noah, a project manager for HomeSpec, went out to the home and inspected the driveway. He explained to the homeowner that this did align with HomeSpec’s repair plan and how the work would be completed. First, the team would cut through the plants growing in between the concrete. Then, where the concrete needed to be lifted, small holes would be drilled through to the other side. These holes would allow the foreman to use PolyLevel® Injection Foam to lift the concrete back into place. Finally, the joints would be sealed using NexusPro sealant. This would secure the driveway and provide a clean aesthetic. The homeowner agreed to this plan and had HomeSpec’s PolyLevel foreman, Domonique, and his team move forward with the repairs. They were very happy with the finished product!

Foreman Devin Parker used the PolyLevel method to repair the concrete. The high-density rigid foam is first injected below the slab through smalls holes. As it expands, the slab is lifted and leveled. This material is stable and strong, and environmentally safe. 

The homeowner was able to use his driveway and garage again that same day, and was happy to find a permanent solution for his concrete issues!
