Severe Concrete Cracks Repaired in Almont, MI

This homeowner in Almont, MI saw that their patio was creating trip hazards. They also noted that water was not running off in the right direction, if at all, which was causing damage and puddles on some concrete slabs. Neither of these issues would get better with time, only worse, so the homeowner called HomeSpec Waterproofing and Foundation Repair.

HomeSpec provided a free inspection because the homeowner was present. Throughout the inspection, HomeSpec’s project manager took pictures to highlight the worst cracking and unleveled areas. After an in-depth discussion with the homeowner, the project manager recommended PolyLevel® Injection Foam to level the areas that have sunk and need to direct the water runoff. He also recommended the concrete protection system using NexusPro sealant.

The homeowner agreed with this proposal and HomeSpec scheduled a crew. The team was led by foreman Domonique. Working together, they were able to complete the project in just a few short days. The patio was now not only leveled and free of trip hazards as desired, but the joints were also protected from UV rays, harsh weather conditions, and weeds.

Roseville, MI - Cracked and Sunken Driveway Lifted, Leveled, and Sealed

A homeowner in Roseville, MI decided that enough was enough and it was time to get their driveway fixed. Areas had sunken and plants were growing through the cracks. The unlevel concrete had caused damage to one of their cars. The homeowner wanted to leave the house to their son one day so the property needed this maintenance. They called HomeSpec Waterproofing and Foundation Repair for a free inspection.

The project manager, Noah, looked at all of the concrete on the property and came up with a plan. He explained to the homeowner that the majority of the concrete could be repaired instead of replaced. The sunken slabs could be lifted and leveled using PolyLevel® Injection Foam and the cracks could be sealed using NexusPro sealant. The homeowner approved of this plan and had HomeSpec schedule their crews. Domonique, the PolyLevel foreman, led the lifting and leveling process. Meanwhile, Rick, another foreman, led the process of pouring new concrete in two specific spots. Together, they were able to completely revive the driveway. The homeowner was happy with their work and knew there would be no further issues.

Sump Pump Concerns Lead to Driveway Repair in Macomb, MI

A Macomb, MI homeowner contacted HomeSpec Waterproofing and Foundation Repair with concerns about their sump pump. HomeSpec sent one of their project managers, Sean, to the home. Upon arriving, he noticed that there were large gaps in the driveway. Certain spots had even been invaded by grass.

Sean spoke with the homeowner about their concerns and went on to provide a free inspection. After investigating the sump pump in the basement floor he returned to the homeowner to discuss a repair plan. Sean, of course, talked about the areas the homeowner was concerned about but also brought up the driveway. Sean recommended installing a new sump pump as well as filling the concrete cracks and joints with NexusPro sealant to protect the driveway. The homeowner agreed with both of these recommendations and scheduled a team for the repairs. A foreman named Domonique led the charge and the homeowner was happy with the crew’s hard work!

Waterproofing Concerns Lead to Multiple Repairs on Macomb, MI Home

A homeowner in Macomb, MI originally reached out to HomeSpec because there was water in the basement during heavy rains. The scheduling team worked with the homeowner to find a date and time that worked best for a project manager to provide a free inspection and a no-obligation quote. On the day of the appointment, the project manager noticed that much more than just waterproofing repairs were needed.

Throughout the property, there was cracked concrete. The area surrounding the pool was especially concerning. Uneven concrete makes for tripping hazards, which is not something homeowners or families want in high-traffic areas. The project manager proposed lifting the concrete using PolyLevel® Injection Foam and then sealing the cracks and joints with NexusPro sealant. When the repairs were completed, the area surrounding the pool would be evenly flat and secured. The homeowner agreed to this repair plan, as well as the recommendations for the waterproofing repairs. The concrete leveling work was led by a foreman named Domonique. With his team, they were able to make the homeowner’s goals a reality.

Cracked, Sinking Driveway in Saint Clair Shores, MI Leveled and Sealed

A pair of homeowners in Saint Clair Shores, MI planned to be in their house until it was time to move into a retirement home. Unfortunately, their driveway, garage, and patio all had cracks and were sinking which created tripping hazards. The driveway was so cracked that the concrete slabs appeared as worn out puzzle pieces. The homeowners knew they wanted these issues fixed sooner rather than later, so they contacted HomeSpec Waterproofing and Foundation Repair to get a free estimate.

One of HomeSpec’s project managers, Jeremiah, visited the residence and evaluated the concrete surrounding the home. He measured the dimensions as well as tested how deep a space was under the slabs. He then conversed with the homeowners about a plan to repair everything. Jeremiah shared that the products HomeSpec would use are PolyLevel® Injection Foam and NexusPro sealant. The crew would drill small holes through the concrete so the PolyLevel® Injection Foam reaches underneath the slabs and it would then lift them into place. Once all of the concrete was leveled, then the team would use NexusPro sealant to protect the joints and cracks. The homeowners agreed to this plan and later watched it come to life thanks to teams led by Domonique and Rick. They were happy with the final results!
