A homeowner in Lisbon, ND, was watching television one evening when they took note of an advertisment discussing the dangers of radon. Worried about their home's levels, the homeowner knew they wanted answers. Radon is an odorless, tasteless, and invisible gas that is harmful to all members of a household. The homeowner called our Appointment Center and signed up for their FREE estimate. We sent our Design Specialist, Ian, to the home to take a closer look. Ian set the test and began looking for the best extraction point. Once the test was completed, it showed the levels were higher than 4pCI/l. Ian recommended installing a Radon Mitigation System, and the homeowner agreed. The install date was sent, then our Logisitics team assigned the project to our Radon Sales and Service Technician, Jackson. The following month, Jackson arrived at the home and began the Radon Mitigation installation. Jackson installed the Radon Mitigation System on the south side of the home. A homeowner in Milnor, ND, noticed odd sounds from their basement. After further investigation, the homeowner discovered the sounds were coming from their sump pump. During his investigation, Ian confirmed the basement required repairs. Additionally, Ian tested the home's radon level and found that it was alarmingly high. Ian recommended installing a Radon Mitigation System to lower the levels. Knowing this was their best option, the homeowner agreed with Ian's recommendations. Next, the plans were passed along to our Logisitcs team to approve the plans. Once the plans were approved, the proposal was assigned to our Radon Sales and Service Technician, Jackson. Jackson received the plans and traveled to Milnor to begin the project. First, Jackson installed additional parts to the struggling sump pump. Next, Jackson shifted his focus to installing the Radon Mitigation System. By installing a Radon Mitigation System, it will lower the concentration of radon gas in your home to the minimal levels recommended by the EPA. Jackson installed the entire system on the inside and outside of the home. Once all the products were secured, Jackson cleaned up his materials and left the home. The homeowner was relieved to know their home's radon levels were lowered and at the proper levels. Our Foreman, Cole Brinkman, and his production team began the project by breaking out the concrete floor perimeter, forming a waterway trench. In the trench, our team installed our WaterGuard System, which is made to prevent water clogs, collect water seepage from basement walls, and serve as an underground drain. Next, our team installed our CleanSpace Wall Vapor Barrier around the wall perimeter. Our CleanSpace is made to prevent mold and humidity build-up, act as an extra wall protectant, and give the space a neat and clean appearance. To complete the project, Cole and his team filled the open floor gaps with river rock and applied new concrete over it.

Next, our crew installed our CleanSpace Wall Vapor Barrier, which is made to prevent humidity and mold build-up, cover any holes or divots, and provide the room with a neat and clean appearance. Lastly, Juan and his team installed our foundation repair PowerBraces. Our PowerBraces are made to stabilize failing basement walls and provide the potential to straighten walls over time. PowerBraces can be tightened over time to make bowing or tilting walls straighter and more vertical. To complete the project, our team covered the open floor gaps with rock and replaced the concrete. John was thrilled with the project!
