Foreman Jesus and his crew prepped the walls and installed our full perimeter system. Then, they added our  WaterGuard system. This particular system is typically used in basements and is the premier choice for basement waterproofing. It is installed below the floor, but rests atop the foundation, keeping it out of the "mud zone", making it harder to clog. It works to trap water and sends it to an appropriate disposal site, which is typically a sump pump. So, our crew Inserted our SuperSump® Premier Pump System into the southeast corner of the space. It is engineered to help keep the basement dry and healthy for extended periods, even during heavy water intrusion. The SuperSump® includes a powerful Zoeller® ⅓ horsepower cast-iron sump pump, capable of pumping 2,220 gallons of water per hour at an 8-foot head out of your basement. They then proceeded to use CleanSpace to encapsulate the basement to prevent moisture and mold to affect the rest of the foundation. Finally, our team added an Aprilaire dehumidifier, which creates healthy air and can reduce the number of viable viruses in the air to less than 1% in two days when set to 50% relative humidity.
