We sent one of our Design Specialists, Rick Weber, to his home to inspect his basement and design a solution. Rick worked closely with Patrick to create the right waterproofing plan for his home. Patrick approved of the proposal that Rick presented to him, so he scheduled the installation.

Our Foreman, Matt Zeller, and his crew installed 127 feet of our WaterGuard drainage system around the perimeter of the basement. Then, they installed a SuperSump sump pump. The drainage system now properly guides water to the sump pump and from there, the sump pump pushes the water through the discharge line and expels it from the home. Our waterproofing system is backed by a lifetime warranty, so Patrick has peace of mind that he chose the right solution to protect his basement for the long-term.

Our Foreman, Jose, and his production team began the project by digging out the soil around the existing window, forming a large hole to fit the egress into. These window wells provide rigid construction that doesn't collapse from the backfill or allow water to leak through the well walls. to complete the installation, our team backfilled the soil around the egress, ensuring that their working space was neater than when they found it. Toni and Bonnie were thrilled with the completion and their peace of mind was restored!

Inside the trench, our crew installed our WaterGuard Below Floor Drain, which is an interior drainage system that prevents mud clogs and collects water seepage from basement walls. Next, our crew installed our ZenWall Insulated Panels around the entire basement wall perimeter, which gives the basement a finished look benefits your home by adding insulation and creating a heat-reflective vapor barrier on the walls. To complete the project, our crew filled the open gaps with river rock and applied a new layer of concrete over them.

A homeowner in Cresco, IA, knew it was time to have a professional inspect their bowing and cracked foundation. Unsure who to work with, the homeowner asked their friends, who had a similar issue, for any recommendations. The friend referred them to work with us, American Waterworks, so the homeowner decided to take a closer look at our services. The homeowner was impressed with our work, so they decided to sign up for their FREE estimate. Once the estimate was set, we sent Brady, one of our Design Specialists, to take a closer look. Brady arrived at the home and began his detailed inspection of the basement. During his inspection, Brady discovered the south foundation wall bowing significantly and needed to be permanently stabilized. Brady presented his proposal to the homeowner and they agreed with his plan. Next, Brady passed the proposal to the office to be finalized. Once they were given the final stamp of approval, the plans were assigned to our Foreman, Raul, and his crew to begin the project. Raul and his crew traveled to the home and started by installing four GeoLock Wall anchors along the south foundation wall. Once the GeoLock Wall Anchors were secured, the crew installed 7 CarbonArmor strips along the east and west walls. Once both products were secured, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the basement better than they arrived. The homeowner was given peace of mind knowing this basement was properly stabilized.
