Dampened Foundation Floors in Elbow Lake, MN

A homeowner was in their basement when they discovered water damage and immediately panicked. Knowing the winter months were approaching, the homeowners wanted to get ahead of any further damage. While comparing different basement waterproofing services, the homeowner determined American Waterworks was the best fit. The homeowner signed up for their FREE estimate with Design Specialist, Ian, and the waterproofing began. Dangerous Levels of Radon Mitigated in Morgan, MN

A homeowner in Morgan, MN, recently read an article discussing radon and how it is dangerous in your home. Radon is an odorless, tasteless, and invisible gas that is the second leading cause of lung cancer. Concerned about the levels in their home, the homeowner began looking into "dangerous levels of radon". One of the first articles to catch their attention was us, American Waterworks, so the homeowner read our article discussing the dangers of radon. The homeowner noted that we also provided Radon Mitigation services. After reading the article, the homeowner was impressed with our excellent knowledge and radon mitigation services, so they signed up for their FREE estimate. Once the estimate was set, the homeowner prepared for the arrival of our Design Specialist, Eric. The following week, Eric traveled to the home to begin the estimate. Eric arrived at the home and started the radon test. While the radon test was being completed, Eric began scouting for the best location to place the Radon Mitigation System. After the test finished, Eric reviewed the results and saw that the levels were above 4 pCi. To lower the levels, Eric recommended installing a Radon Mitigation System outside the home. Knowing this was their best plan of action, the homeowner decided to go ahead with the recommendations. Our Logistics team received the plans, then they were built and scheduled for a few weeks later. The project was scheduled with our Foreman, Dakota, and his crew, then they went to the home to begin the installation. Dakota installed the Radon Mitigation System along the west wall. Our Radon Mitigation System consists of a large-diameter plastic pipe that connects the air beneath your foundation to the outdoors. After Dakota installed the Radon Mitigation System, he and his crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was glad to know their radon risk was eliminated. American Waterworks is happy to provide their homeowners peace of mind knowing their radon risk is eliminated.
