Cindy H. of Glyndon, MN had water leaking from his ceiling down the walls, and she wasn't sure what was causing it to leak. Richie went to Cindy's home, inspected her concrete, and drew up a well-detailed solution that would fit her needs. Cindy was confident in the proposal, so she scheduled a date for the installation.

Our Foreman, Ryan, and his crew began the project by breaking out the corner of the basement, forming a hole. In the hole, our crew installed our SuperSump Plus M53, which is a sump pump designed to discharge water out of the basement by keeping it away from the foundation. Next, our crew installed our CleanSpace Wall System Vapor Barrier, which is a barrier that prevents water from seeping through the basement walls and saves money on energy costs. To complete the project, our crew filled the open-floor gaps with river rock and applied new concrete over them, ensuring the space was neater than when they found it.

In Granada, MN, a homeowner found an unwanted heavy rain pond in their basement rather than a peaceful retreat. As seen in the "before" photo, standing water took center stage. Our design specialist, Skylar, visited the property and recommended that the customer invest in our WaterGuard system. This particular system is typically used in basements and is the premier for basement waterproofing. It is installed below the floor but rests atop the foundation, keeping it out of the "mud zone" and making it harder to clog. 

Foreman, Arturo, and his crew headed out and got started on making Karen's home a drier, safer place to live. First, our WaterGuard is a patented below-floor drain that rests in a drainage bed on top of the foundation footing. It is our most commonly used drain system because of its resistance to water clogs, easy-to-access service ports, and ability to collect leaking water from basement walls. The team then covered the open gaps with rock and replaced the concrete.

The drainage system now properly guides water to the Super Sump Plus pump, which pushes the water through the discharge line and expels it from the home. Karen was pleased with the results and is glad her basement is now a dry, healthy space.

Richard H. in Lewisville, MN was tired of dealing with the frustration of his sunken driveway. It had sunk 2-3 inches below the concrete floor of the garage and created a large bump when driving in and out.

He started looking for concrete repair experts and found American Waterworks. He was interested to learn more about our PolyLevel concrete repair solution, so he gave us a call. Our Design Specialist, Eric Hazelton, went to his home to give him a free onsite estimate. Our PolyLevel expert drilled penny sized holes into the concrete slabs to inject the foam. Once the foam is injected it takes only 30 minutes to cure, so Richard was able to see the results almost immediately. In that trench, our crew installed our WaterGuard System which serves as an underground water drain and prevents water clogs. Next, Juan and his crew installed our TripleSafe Sump Pump System in the corner of the basement. Our TripleSafe is one of the best sump pumps we offer to customers and provides three levels of water protection.
