Andrew in Winthrop, MN had water leaking through his block foundation where the wall meets the floor. He had a working sump pump already in place, but without a drainage system the water had no way to reach the pump. He contacted American Waterworks to receive a FREE estimate, so we sent a Design Specialist to his home to develop a solution for Andrew. Our Specialist recommend having our WaterGuard drainage system installed and connected to the sump pump.

Andrew agreed with this solution, so our production crew started the installation by removing the concrete around the perimeter of the floor to create a trench for the WaterGuard. Then, they laid the WaterGuard drainage system and filled back the gaps with rock. They connected the drainage system into the existing sump pump and then replaced the concrete. This process only took a day to complete, and now Andrew is enjoying a dry, healthier basement.

Next, our crew applied 77 feet of our CleanSpace Wall System and secured it around the wall perimeter. Our CleanSpace is a vapor barrier that prevents mold and humidity from invading the basement and acts as an extra wall protectant. Then, Tremaine and his crew installed 77 feet of our WaterGuard System into the formed trench. Our WaterGuard collects water seepage from basement walls and acts as an underground drain that leads to outside. Lastly, our team covered the open gaps with rock and replaced the concrete.

Once the WaterGuard was secured, the crew shifted to attaching CleanSpace to the unfinished basement wall. Finally, the crew completed the project by installing 8 PowerBraces along the struggling walls. After all the products were secured, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. Edgar and his crew successfully installed all the products in the home, so they cleaned up their materials and left.
