After purchasing their Forest City, IA home, Matt & Jenni decided to contact American Waterworks to have a new sump pump installed in their basement after realizing the DIY version wasn't keeping up with the demands of their home. American Waterworks was a no-brainer for these two, as our Team had previously installed our Geo-Lock Foundation Wall Anchor reinforcement system in the home back in 2013.

Bryan A. in Forest City, IA was tired of dealing with a wet basement after heavy rains and snow melt. The water had started to cause damage to his property and was creating a musty, unhealthy space. He heard our advertisement on the radio and decided to give us a call. We sent one of our Design Specialists, Dylan Woitas, to meet with him and evaluate the situation. Dylan designed a thorough plan and assured Bryan that our waterproofing system would provide a permanent solution. 

Our Foreman, Matt Zeller, and his production crew were able to successfully waterproof Bryan’s basement by first removing the concrete around the inside perimeter of the basement and through the middle of the floor. Next, they installed 164 feet of our WaterGuard drainage System and 36 feet of lateral line. Then, they installed our SuperSump sump pump in the corner, filled the gaps with rock, and replaced the concrete. Water is now guided through the WaterGuard, to the SuperSump, and is quietly, and efficiently discharged from the home. Bryan was pleased with the results, and glad he made the investment to protect his home. 

Bob, a homeowner in Grove City, MN, was having issues in his basement, as heavy rainfall led to water intrusion. Usually a side effect of the natural curing process of concrete, these cracks do not threaten the foundation. However, even small cracks in a foundation can be a significant problem if they leak groundwater into your basement or crawl space.

Bob was glad he reached out and was excited to get started. Our Foreman, Raul, and his crew headed to the basement and got to work. First, they ensured the space was cleared and ready for the demo. Then, they completed a half-wall demo to address the damage properly. Next, they implemented our FlexiSpan® Foundation Crack Repair System to repair the leaking wall cracks. It's a patented, warrantied repair and a permanent solution. 

To complete the project, our team replaced the concrete and left the area looking neater than when they found it. Bob was happy with the work that was done and was grateful we could assist him and his home repair needs! 

A homeowner in Grove City, MN, had noticed a damp spot on the bottom of their stairs. Concerned they were experiencing a major issue, the homeowner contacted us to schedule their FREE basement waterproofing estimate.

During the inspection, he looked behind the wall of the steps and found mold growth. After reporting his findings to the homeowner, Shane created a proposal to stop the issue. In that proposal, he recommended installing FlexiSpan, which will stop leaking wall cracks and direct the leaks to a drainage system. After looking over the proposal, the homeowner happily agreed to the recommendations and decided to move forward with the project.

In about a month, our Foreman, Raul B., and his crew arrived at the home for the installation. After successfully installing FlexiSpan along the leaking wall, the crew cleaned up their equipment and left the home.

Our production crew got to work and installed our WaterGuard drainage system along the perimeter of the basement. The WaterGuard drains water to the newly installed SuperSump sump pump, and it is then expelled from the home through the discharge line.
