Ventura, IA, Malfunctioning Sump Pump Replaced
A homeowner in Ventura, IA, heard an odd noise coming from their basement. Unsure of the cause, the homeowner began looking into the "best home sump pump near me". At the top of the list stood us, American Waterworks, so the homeowner decided to take a closer look at our services. Impressed with our five-star reviews, the homeowner knew we were the ideal company for their project. Since they were already on our website, the homeowner decided to sign up for their FREE estimate. Once the estimate was set, the homeowner prepared for the arrival of our Design Specialist, Brady. As soon as he arrived, Brady began the thorough inspection of the basement. During his inspection, Brady confirmed the sump pump was not acting right. Additionally, Brady noticed water damage near the bottom of the floor. To prevent this issue from continuing, Brady recommended installing several waterproofing products throughout the basement. Knowing this was their best option, the homeowner decided to go ahead with Brady's solution. Next, Brady passed the proposal to the Logistics team to build and schedule the project. After our Logistics team approved the plans, it was scheduled with our Foreman, Jeromy, and his crew. Once the project date arrived, Jeromy and his crew traveled to the home to begin the project. First, Jeromy and his crew started by installing WaterGuard around the basement perimeter. Once the WaterGuard was secured, the crew took out the old sump pump and replaced it with the TripleSafe Sump Pump. Finally, the crew completed the project by installing CleanSpace on the unfinished basement walls. Once all the products were installed, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was relieved to know their basement was properly waterproofed. American Waterworks is happy to provide their homeowenr's peace of mind.

Crawl Space Waterproofing and SmartJacks in Perham, MN
For this job, we headed out to Perham, MN, where we assisted a customer who was having issues with bowing wood and water in their crawl space. Our Design Specialist, Richie, headed out to the property and was able to recommend solutions for both of the issues. To address the bowing wood, Richie suggested they have several SmartJacks installed under the main beam of the floorboard. Our SmartJacks have the option to be tightened over time, making it the ideal solution for homeowners who need a long-term fix. Richie suggested our CleanSpace waterproofing encapsulation be installed in the crawl space to keep it dry and energy-efficient. Another excellent project completed by Richie, our Foreman Cameron, and his team!
Crawl Space Gets Stabilized in Perham, MN
A customer from Perham, MN got in contact with us when he began to notice that his crawl space was causing issues with his home. When he called in, he noted that he was experiencing unwanted water in the space along with a sinking floor from the room above. He had concerns that if he left the issue unresolved, it would result in damage being done to the structure of the home which would cost more to fix down the road. We set him up with our FREE estimate and our Design Specialist, Richie N headed out to the property to assess the situation. Once Richie had completed his thorough walkthrough, he made several recommendations as to how we could help. First, Richie wanted to wrap the space in our CleanSpace vapor barrier, which is a tarp-like material that traps water and helps deposit it to the appropriate location. Second, Richie recommended our AprilAire dehumidifier, one of the most elite self-draining dehumidifiers on the market. Finally, Richie wanted to address the sagging floor by using our Support Jacks, which are adjustable supplemental support systems used specifically for sagging crawl spaces and can restore them to their original position. Our customer agreed with the suggestions and work began shortly after.
Our Foreman, Cameron, and his crew worked quickly to install 12 of our SmartJack support jacks and 1030 sqft of CleanSpace throughout the crawl space, and finished off the job by installing one of our Aprilaire dehumidifiers.
