A New Richland, MN, homeowner was facing an issue. Each time there was rain in his area, his basement would fall victim to water intrusion. He didn't want to deal with the problem anymore but wasn't sure how to go about fixing it. One day he found himself at a home show in Owatonna, MN, and as he was wandering through the rows of vendors, he met our Design Specialist, Brad W, at our booth. He and Brad got to talking about his leaky basement, and Brad said he would be more than happy to visit his home and complete one of our FREE estimate appointments into the issue. The homeowner was more than happy to have Brad out to his home, and scheduled the appointment for the following week.

On the day of the inspection, Brad headed out to the house and got right to work looking at the basement. Once he finished, he met with the homeowner. Brad recommended the installation of SuperSump sump pump. Our client in Mason City, IA discovered her basement would flood after it rained. After a free inspection by American Waterworks, we discovered that the water was entering through their Egress Window.  We replaced their old window with a Everlast windows, which not only stopped the water from entering the basement but is more energy efficent then the old one.

Kevin S. in Mason City, IA contacted American Waterworks because he was tired of dealing with standing water in his basement after heavy rains and snow melt. Our Foreman, Arturo Mares, and his production crew were successfully able to waterproof Kevin’s basement by first, removing the concrete around the perimeter of the basement and laying our WaterGuard drainage system. Next, they installed our recommended TripleSafe sump pump. Now, water is properly guided through the WaterGuard to the sump pump, which is then expelled from the home through the discharge line. Lastly, they completed the project with installing our Fomax Wall Insulation Panels. Foamax provides comfort and energy bill savings, while making the walls look clean and bright. Kevin's peace of mind has been restored, knowing his basement will remain dry!
