At American Waterworks, we provide annual maintenances on the systems that we install for our customers. One of our customers, in particular, Tabitha M. of Marshall, MN had our Service Technician, Mitchell Sobotta, checking up on the system that we had installed in her home in 2018. While he was there, he inspected some areas of the home that Tabitha had concerns with; a cracked wall with water seeping through the cracks. Mitchell proposed our CleanSpace Wall System Vapor Barrier, our WaterGuard Below-Floor Drain, and our PowerBrace Foundation Wall Repair System. The homeowner was confident that our products would do the trick, so she followed through with Mitchell's proposal and set up a date for the installation. 

Our Foreman, Jeromy Anderson, started the project by breaking out the concrete floor where the floor meets the wall, forming a trench. In the trench, our team installed our WaterGuard. Our WaterGuard is the most common interior drainage system that we provide for homeowners because of its easily accessible service ports, its ability to collect water seepage from basement walls, and its prevention from mud clogs. Next, our team installed our CleanSpace, which prevents mold and mildew, gives the basement a neat and clean appearance, and it hides away any holes or divots. Lastly, Jeromy and our crew installed our PowerBraces, which are made to stabilize failing walls and straighten them over time. To complete the installation, our team filled the open gaps with river rock and applied new concrete over it, ensuring the space was neater than when they found it. Tabitha was happy with the job and had a great experience!   

Bette and James A. of Marshall, MN were starting to see small holes through the foundation of their home. Bette and James put down a deposit and followed through with the project.

Next, our team installed our CleanSpace Wall System Vapor Barrer around the entire basement wall perimeter, which is designed to prevent moisture and mold, cover any holes or divots in the foundation, and gives the basement a clean appearance. Lastly, our team installed our TripleSafe Sump Pump System, which has three layers of water protection, solves all three water problems in one unit, and comes with a battery backup in case of power failure. To complete the work, our team filled the open-floor gaps with river rock and applied new concrete over them. The homeowners were very satisfied with the work and post-installation walkthrough!

Becky D. of Marshall, MN had leaking basement walls and floors, as well as a sagging floor. She got in contact with our office staff and set up a FREE estimate with our Design Specialist, Eric. Eric went to Becky's home to inspect the problems and determine a solution. Our Design Specialist proposed our WaterGuard Below-Floor System and CleanSpace Wall System Vapor Barrier to repair the water leaks and our SmartJack System to straighten the sagging floor. Becky was confident in the proposal, so she went ahead with the project.

Our crew installed our WaterGuard Below-Floor Drain in the trench and installed our CleanSpace Wall System Vapor Barrier around the basement wall perimeter. Our WaterGuard is an interior drainage system designed to prevent mud clogs and collect water seepage from basement walls. Our CleanSpace Wall System Vapor Barrier is designed to prevent moisture and humidity, cover any holes or divots in the foundation, and brightens the basement. Lastly, Jose and his crew installed our SmartJacks to restore the sagging floors. Our SmartJacks support sagging and undersized beams, restoring the stability and straightness of sagging floor joists. To complete the installation, our team filled the open gaps in the floor with river rock and applied new concrete over them. Becky was happy with the work, and was grateful we could help her with her home repair needs! 

In 2015, Kathy from Balaton, MN contacted us because water was leaking through their basement walls, even in the winter. They had a sump pump already in place, but there was no drainage system, so the water was not reaching the sump pump and therefore could not be removed from the home. We sent one of our Design Specialists to her home to inspect her basement and develop the right solution for her specific challenges. She was happy with the solution we presented to her, so she scheduled the installation.

Our production team installed our WaterGuard drainage system around the perimeter of the basement floor and a TripleSafe sump pump in place of the old sump pump. Our TripleSafe is our most reliable sump pump system, which is backed by three layers of protection. They also installed our SaniDry dehumidifier in her basement to remove moisture and control the humidity in that space. Every year since the installation, Kathy has received an annual maintenance from our Service Department to ensure that her waterproofing system is working properly and efficiently. Kathy has been able to enjoy a dry, healthier basement since her installation in 2015.
