Water Intrusion Signs in Wyoming, MN

A homeowner in Wyoming, MN, noticed water stains on their concrete floors. With all the melting snow and rain, the homeowner was concerned about more water sneaking into their basement. The homeowner began looking for professional assistance. After searching through many waterproofing companies, the homeowner decided to work with us, American Waterworks. They went to our website and signed up for their FREE estimate. After their appointment details were set, we sent one of our Design Specialists, Jesse, to inspect the basement. Following his inspection, Jesse confirmed the home needed proper waterproofing. Jesse recommended a solution to the homeowners that would solve all their issues. The homeowner agreed to Jesse's recommendations and production commenced. Our crew received the plans and made their way out to the home. The crew began by installing the WaterGuard in the southern corner of the basement. In addition to the WaterGuard, the crew installed the TripleSafe Sump pump and IceGuard. Then, the crew installed CleanSpace on the walls to protect them from mold and further water intrusion. After all the waterproofing products were installed, the crew utilized the PolyLevel to lift the sinking front steps. The homeowners were impressed by the excellent job done by the crew. American Waterworks is happy to give another customer peace of mind.

Basement Waterproofing in Wykoff, MN

Lisa A. of Wykoff, MN was having issues with her damp carpet and water coming into her basement, so she contacted American Waterworks to learn more about their basement waterproofing services. Our appointment center set her up with a FREE estimate with our Sales Manager, Eric Fox. Eric went to Lisa's house, carefully inspected her basement, and determined a plan that would prevent water from coming into her basement. Eric proposed our WaterGuard Below-Floor Drain, which serves as an underground drain. Lisa was confident in the product and its warranty, so she followed through with the project.

Our Foreman, Tremaine Jackson, and his production team began the installation by breaking out the concrete floor perimeter, forming a trench. In the trench, our team installed our WaterGuard Below-Floor Drain, which is designed to collect water seepage from basement walls and prevent any mud or water clogs. To complete the installation, our team filled the open-floor gaps with river rock and applied new concrete over them, ensuring the space was neat and clean. Lisa was happy with the work that was performed and had a great experience!

Radon Mitigated in Mazeppa, MN

A homeowner from Mazeppa, MN, was chatting with his neighbor one morning when his neighbor informed him that he had his home tested for radon gas. The homeowner knew very little about the dangerous gas but decided perhaps he should have his home tested as well. His neighbor had told him that American Waterworks offers radon testing in MN, so the homeowner decided to call us and schedule his FREE estimate. In the meantime, the homeowner headed to his local home improvement store to buy an at-home radon test. When the results came back high, he was confident that he had made the right choice by contacting American Waterworks.

Several weeks later, our Design Specialist, Mac C, headed out to the home. He started the appointment by scouting the best place for a radon mitigation system for this home. When he finished, he met with the homeowner. Mac began by explaining that the homeowner had done the right thing by testing his home and calling us. Mac went on to say that the tricky thing about radon is that because it's odorless, colorless, and tasteless, it's impossible to know whether or not your home is infested without proper testing. Mac then went on to say that because the levels in the home were well above 4 pCi/Ls, he was recommending a radon mitigation system be installed in the home. He then explained that a typical radon mitigation system consists of a large-diameter plastic pipe that connects the air beneath your foundation to the outdoors. An in-line fan sucks radon-rich air from beneath your foundation and expels this hazardous air to the exterior. Instead of entering your basement or other living space area through numerous gaps and cracks in the foundation, radon gas is extracted from beneath your foundation before it can permeate into interior space. The homeowner liked the sound of Mac's plan and scheduled the job for some time later.

Eventually, the day of the installation rolled around. Our Foreman, Dakota M, was able to successfully install the radon mitigation system without any worries. Now, our homeowner can be confident that only the healthiest air is circulating in his home.
