Kim B. of Blaine, MN had water leaking in part of her basement so she called American Waterworks to set up a FREE Estimate. Our Design Specialist, Michael Janousek, went out to her home to detect the issue and come up with a solution. Kim was comfortable with the presentation, so she followed through with the project. 

Our Foreman, Jose Castillo, and his production team installed our WaterGuard and CleanSpace Wall System where it was leaking most. Our WaterGuard serves as an underground drain and collects water from basement walls, while our CleanSpace prevents humidity and mold from invading a specific area. Kim was happy with the turnout, and is no longer experiencing water seepage problems! 

A homeowner in New Hampton, IA, grew concerned their crawl space was in serious trouble. Unsure of the cause, the homeowner began looking into crawl space repair near New Hampton, IA. The homeowner looked through several companies and their eye was caught by our five-star ratings and reviews. Impressed with our work, the homeowner knew we were the best company for the job. Since they were already on our website, the homeowner decided to sign up for their FREE estimate. As soon as the estimate was set, we sent one of our Design Specialists, Ryan, to the home to take a closer look. Ryan arrived at the home and began his thorough investigation of the crawl space. During his investigation, Ryan confirmed the crawl space needed to be cleared and encapsulated. Ryan presented his findings and proposal to the homeowner. Knowing this was their best option, the homeowner decided to go ahead with Ryan's proposal. Next, Ryan sent the proposal to our Logistics team to have the plans approved. Our Logistics team built and scheduled the project, and then it was assigned to our Foreman, Kiko, and his crew. As soon as Kiko and his crew arrived, they began by clearing out the crawl space. Once the crawl space was cleared, the crew shifted their focus to installing Drainage Matting on the crawl space floor. Following the Drainage Matting, the crew shifted their focus to installing TerraBlock on the crawl space floor. Next, the crew attached CleanSpace to the crawl space walls and floors. Finally, the crew finished up by installing Foamax on the outside crawl space walls. After Kiko and his crew completed the installation, they cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was delighted with the excellent work completed by the crew. American Waterworks is delighted to assist its homeowners in repairing their crawl space. 

A homeowner in Cannon Falls, MN requested that American Waterworks check their crawlspace for the presence of Radon after reading up on the side effects of this toxic gas.

 After receiving the news that their test came back at 8.4 pCi/L, the Shepards decided it was best to encapsulate their crawlspace with a vapor barrier known as CleanSpace.

The CleanSpace barrier will block most of the movement of radon from the soil into the crawlspace and our radon mitigation system will reduce any of the remaining presence of the gas that is entering through cracks in the foundation, plumbing, etc.

Randy H. of Milaca, MN had a damp and wet crawl space, causing him to worry about humidity, mold, and pest attraction. He called American Waterworks and scheduled a FREE Estimate with our Design Specialist, Shane Nephew. Shane went to his home, inspected his crawl space, and came up with the solution of our CleanSpace Encapsulation Vapor Barrier. Randy got all of his questions answered so he moved forward with the project. 

Our Foreman, Jose Flores, and his crew installed 864 feet of our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier, which is a heavy-duty moisture barrier that is used to transform the crawl space into a dry, clean, and energy-efficient part of the home. Along with protection from mold and rot, a dry crawl space will also prevent termites, cockroaches, ants, crickets, and other creatures from coming into the crawl space. Randy was happy with the repairs and was grateful to have a dry crawl space again!

Denise H. in Saint Paul, MN was experiencing high humidity in her dirt crawl space and she noticed bugs were entering through that space because it was not encapsulated. Denise wanted to make her crawl space healthier and more energy-efficient, so she contacted American Waterworks to receive a FREE estimate. One of our Design Specialists, Jeremy Radtke, went onsite to inspect her crawl space and develop a personalized solution. Denise was impressed with our products and Jeremy’s thorough plan, so she chose to move forward with the encapsulation.

Our production team removed the debris from her crawl space and leveled the dirt as best as they could. Then, they installed a SmartDrain and condensation pump. They laid our CleanSpace vapor barrier along the floor and FoamMax walls panels along to walls. Lastly, they sprayed the rim joists with our spray foam insulation and they installed a SaniDry dehumidifier. The combination of these waterproofing and encapsulation systems makes the crawl space a dry, energy-efficient, and healthier space. Denise was very pleased with the finished product and was thrilled with how hard working our crew was!
