Matt T.'s concrete slab was sinking, causing him to worry about the value of his home. One of his peers referred him to American Waterworks, so he got in contact with our office staff and scheduled a FREE estimate. Our Design Specialist went to his home in Shakopee, inspected his concrete, and proposed our PolyLevel and NexusPro. Matt was confident in our products and their features, so he went ahead with the project.
Our Foreman and his crew member began the project by injecting 51 pounds of our PolyLevel underneath the slab to fill the voids and stabilize the surface. Our PolyLevel is a special foam that cures quickly, is adjustable to all sizes, and is non-invasive, unlike mudjacking. Next, our team applied our NexusPro over the cracks in the concrete. Front Walkway Gets Lifted in Shakopee, MN
James from Shakopee, MN got in contact with us when he began to notice that his front walkway was sinking further and further away from his front step. He was concerned that if the issue was left unresolved, the slab would continue to sink, creating an even more dramatic tripping hazard. When he called our office, we set him up with our FREE estimate, entitling him to a thorough inspection by one of our Design Specialists. Once the appointment was set, our Design Specialist, Daniel, headed out to the property to see if we could help. Once he finished his walkthrough, he made his recommendations. He wanted to lift the problem slab using our PolyLevel solution. Daniel explained that our PolyLevel is an expanding polyurethane foam that works to fill the voids caused by soil erosion and works to raise and stabilize the concrete surface. Our customer agreed and work began shortly after.
Our Foreman, Dylan, and his crew began the process by strategically drilling holes into the problem slab. Next, they injected the foam into one hole at a time, closely monitoring the lifting process to ensure no overcorrections were made. Once the job was finished, James was relieved to know that he no longer had to worry about trip hazards in front of his house!
Uneven Walkway Lifted in Shakopee, MN
A homeowner in Shakopee, MN, noticed that the walkway and top of his driveway had begun settling, causing the area to become uneven and bumpy. Concerned it would be a trip hazard for his friends and family, the homeowner decided to look into concrete lifting in the area and found us. After browsing our website and becoming impressed by our concrete transformations, the homeowner contacted us to schedule his FREE estimate.
In about a week, our Design Specialist, Michel R., arrived at the home for the inspection. During the inspection, Michel explained to the homeowner that soil washout could be the likely reason why the homeowner is facing concrete settlement. Soil washout is the process in which water moves through the ground and washes away supporting soils. Over time, this creates voids in the soil and leads to the slabs sinking. To effectively fix this issue, Michel recommended PolyLevel, our waterproof foam expanding formula that accurately lifts sunken concrete; SealantPro, our concrete sealant that protects your concrete from elements and prevents discoloration and cracking; and NexusPro, our silicone-based sealant that is specifically engineered to repair cracks and seal joints. After reviewing Michel's proposal, the homeowner happily agreed to his recommendations of lifting the walkway and top driveway with PolyLevel and to seal the joints with NexusPro.
In a couple of days, our Foreman, Ryan T., and his crew arrived to spray SealantPro along the driveway and walkway. Once this product is applied, it leaves a green residue that dries clear. This is so that our crew can apply the product evenly without missing a spot. In about 3 weeks, our Foreman, Jordan S., and his crew arrived at the home to install PolyLevel and NexusPro. Once they were done, they cleaned up their equipment and left the home.
Now, our customer can have peace of mind knowing his concrete is protected and level! Are you experiencing something similar? Click HERE to schedule your FREE estimate today!
Concrete Repair Contractor in Rockford, MN
Ben's concrete patio needed to be lifted and leveled, so he did his research online and found American Waterworks on HomeAdvisor. He called our office and scheduled a FREE estimate with our Design Specialist. Our Design Specialist went to Ben's home, inspected his patio, and proposed a couple of solutions that would solve the problem. Our Foreman and his crew member injected our PolyLevel underneath the patio to fill the voids caused by soil erosion and to level the patio out with the entrance of the home. Next, our team applied our NexusPro over the crack between the concrete and the house. This sealant prevents moisture from getting underneath and it gives the concrete a nice finishing touch.
