Sinking Concrete Stairs Get Raised in Prior Lake, MN
A homeowner from Prior Lake, MN, got in touch with us when she was ready to address her sinking front steps. Her steps had been sinking for some time now and it was starting to form a trip hazard. She decided to give us a call and set up her FREE estimate appointment. A few weeks later, our Design Specialist, Aidan H, headed out to the home to see what could be done.
Once Aidan finished his walkthrough, he met with the homeowner to give her his recommendations. Aidan said that we could fix the sinking concrete using our PolyLevel solution. He explained that our PolyLevel is a dense polyurethane foam that expands when it's injected beneath sinking slabs, filling voids left by soil erosion and slowly lifting the concrete back into place. He went on to say that we finish this type of installation with our NexusPro, a silicone-based sealant that gets applied to the joints and cracks in the concrete slab, preventing unwanted elements from getting below the concrete. The homeowner agreed and the work was scheduled for a few weeks later.
On the day of the project, our Foreman, Domanik, and his team were able to easily lift the concrete back into place. Now our customer can enjoy her front walk without worries of tripping!
