Each joint in the sidewalk was removed and replaced with the NexusPro Solution, a silicone-based sealant for joints and cracks specially formulated to provide long-lasting flexibility and will stand up to harsh weather conditions. In a couple of weeks, our Design Specialist, Darin S., arrived at the home to thoroughly inspect the concrete. During the inspection, he noticed that there was some soil washout underneath the slabs. He explained to the homeowner that soil washout is when water moves through the ground and washes away the supporting soils, keeping the slabs upright. To fix this issue, Darin recommended our PolyLevel, a waterproof expanding foam to lift the slabs, and NexusPro, a silicone-based sealant to seal the joints and repair the cracks. The homeowner happily agreed and scheduled the installation date. 

In about a month, Sam K., and his crew arrived at the home for the installation. PolyLevel is installed by drilling small holes into the concrete slabs and inserting injection ports into the holes. PolyLevel is then injected using an injection gun, filling in the empty spaces in the soil. Once the slab has been lifted to the desired level, the crew seals the holes with cement. Lastly, they used NexusPro to seal the joints and repair cracks.
