Channel Anchors Stabilize Foundation at Stadheim Properties in Owatonna, MN

The representatives at Stadheim Properties in Owatonna, MN contacted American Waterworks after being referred by another contractor. The building had two foundation walls that were cracked and bowing. They were remodeling the building at the time and wanted an estimate and the work done as soon as possible. We sent one of our Design Specialists, Ryan Powell, to meet with the representatives, evaluate the situation, and propose a solution for the building. Ryan recommended our Geo-Lock Channel Anchors to permanently stabilize the walls.

Our Foreman, Matt Zeller, and his production crew got to work installing the 26 Geo-Lock Channel Anchors. They began the project by excavating the soil outside of the building and drilling small holes through the foundation wall that correspond to each anchor location. The steel anchor rods were driven through the holes, extending all the way to the earth anchor holes where an anchor plate was securely attached. After fastening the earth anchor outside, the crew mounted the steel channel anchors to the foundation wall on the inside and secured the channel anchors to the floor for optimal bracing and failure protection. The Geo-Lock system stops the foundation walls from moving inwards and also provides the opportunity to straighten the walls over time. The representatives at Stadheim Properties were happy with the results and glad they chose to invest in a long-term solution.

Basement Repair Contractor in Bagley, MN

Matthew L. of Bagley, MN had water seeping into his basement and had foundation cracks in his exposed basement wall. Our office staff got in contact with him and scheduled a FREE estimate with our Design Specialist, Richie. Richie went to his home and inspected his basement leaks and foundation cracks. Richie proposed our DryTrak Baseboard Drain Pipe for the water leaks and our CarbonArmor Wall Reinforcing System for the foundation cracks. Matthew was confident in both products and their warranties, so he went ahead with the installation.

Our Foreman, Ryan, and his production crew installed six of our CarbonArmor with epoxy resin. This system is designed to stabilize and strengthen foundation walls and is 10 times stronger than steel. After the installation, it becomes part of the wall structure and can be painted to match the color of the wall. Next, our team installed our DryTrak Baseboard Drain Pipe around the floor perimeter, which collects water from basement walls, stays out of the mud zone, and requires no jackhammering. Since this foundation's floor and footing comes as one piece, DryTrak was the correct interior drainage system to use. Matthew was thrilled with the repairs and had a great experience with our team!

Kole warned the homeowners that the wall was severely falling apart and facing wall failure. To solve this issue, Kole recommended the wall be permanently stabilized with our heavy-duty wall restoration system, the EverBrace. The homeowners agreed and we assigned a crew to complete the job. Our Foreman, Domenic, and his crew arrived at the home and began preparation for the wall restoration. The EverBrace system was installed along the south wall of the basement. Additionally, holes were filled where the steps of the basement once were. After the EverBrace was successfully installed, the crew cleaned up the site and left the home. The homeowners were relieved that their basement was saved from possible failure. American Waterworks is happy to give another customer peace of mind.
