A homeowner in Park Rapids, MN, was cleaning their basement when they noticed their walls were beginning to bend inwards. Concerned by this discovery, the homeowner wanted to solve the issue before it progressed. The homeowner was doing research into the many companies in the area and noticed our five-star reviews. Once the estimate details were finalized, the homeowner prepared for the arrival of one of our Design Specialists. As soon as the Design Specialist arrived, he began his analysis of the home's foundation. After completing the detailed inspection, the Design Specialist determined that the foundation walls were caving into the home due to hydrostatic pressure. After finding the cause, the Design Specialist recommended permanently stabilizing the foundation walls. Knowing this was their best option, the homeowner agreed with the Design Specialists recommendations, and the plans were sent to the assigned crew. Our Foreman, Franklin, and his crew arrived at the home to begin the foundation repair. First, the crew started by excavating the failing wall in the basement. Next, the crew installed 18 PowerBraces along the entire west wall, and sections of the west and east wall. Once all the PowerBraces were put into place, the crew installed the SentrySeal Waterproofing Membrane around the exterior foundation. The crew cleaned up their job site and left the home. Deborah O. of Sauk Rapids, MN had a severe crack in her foundation, causing her to feel nervous about the structural support of her home. Our Foreman, Juan Pena, and his production team began the process by digging five holes outside of the home. From the inside of the basement, our team inserted a long, metal rod from the inside foundation to each hole outside beyond the home. Juan and his crew tightened and screwed on a GeoLock Wall Anchors to the ends of each rod. Once tightened and secured, the wall anchor system stabilizes foundation walls by anchoring the walls to the hard-packed soil. To complete the installation, our team backfilled the holes and replaced the soil. Deborah was thrilled with the work!

Loeub had some bowing basement walls and was concerned about the structural integrity of his home. The steel I-beams stabilize the wall in its current position, and over time, can be tightened to make the walls straighter and more vertical. Then we installed 5 SmartJacks in the crawl space to support the beams of the flooring. To stabilize the home, we installed 10 push piers under the foundation.The entire process took a couple of days, but Roger and his family will benefit from this permanent solution for a lifetime. We got a call from a concerned homeowner in Shakopee, MN, who was experiencing a bowing wall in her brick garage.
