Foundational issues were also a concern. The main support beams were weak and the columns supporting the beams were leaning after years of slowly sinking into the moist ground. The owner reached out to DBS in hopes of a solution.

A DBS Design Specialist went out to the property to conduct a free no-obligation estimate for the homeowner. The Design Specialist determined that the moisture issue could be solved by installing DBS's UltraSump™ sump pump to help drain water. They also encouraged encapsulating the crawl space with CleanSpace® to promote a dry environment in the crawl space. The homeowners were advised that the SmartJack® System solution would be a great fix to their failing foundation.

Foreman Osia Williams led the installation for this project. With the help of his team, they successfully installed the UltraSump™, CleanSpace® crawl space encapsulation, and 6 SmartJack® supports. The waterproofing solution that has been installed will help eliminate the buildup of water in the crawl space, preventing further mold growth, and the SmartJack® System ensures that the home is permanently stabilized and free from any further sinking or settling.

The owners are now able to relax comfortably and safely in their homes now that they know the air they are breathing is free of mold, and their foundation has been permanently stabilized.
