This homeowner in Wonton, MN wanted to find a solution for the settlement their garage was experiencing. There was a large gap in the block foundation that needed to be addressed, so the owner reached out to DBS for help.

Design Specialist Jake Gilmer assisted the owner with a free, no-obligation estimate. After a careful inspection, Jake recommended our Piering Services and provided a quote.

Foreman Trevor Ingle led the installation of this project with help from a crew. These piers are driven into the ground using hydraulic pressure and are adjusted to support the structure and lift the foundation.

This homeowner can now relax knowing their garage is same from wall failure.

A homeowner from Winton, MN reached out to DBS looking for help with their crumbling foundation so that they could have more room for their children. One of our Design Specialists, Henrik Makitalo, went to the home to run a free no-obligation estimate appointment. After a thorough inspection, our Design Specialist recommended our PowerBrace® Wall Bracing System. One of our crews led by a Foreman installed the system along the walls to permanently stabilize the foundation walls. Over time, the bracks at the top of each brace can be tightened in an attempt to straighten the wall back to its original position. Now the homeowner can relax with peace of mind!

This home sat on top of a crawl space that had been sectioned off by concrete blocks. When we encapsulated this crawl space we knew that the areas with an interior foundation wall would not require additional insulation so we were able to seal our CleanSpace matting directly to the interior foundation wall. The matting we used gives the crawl space a very clean look while creating an environment that is no longer musty. 

This Beaver Bay crawl space was vented which allowed the unconditioned air from the outdoors to freely enter under the home. In the winter these vents could be shut, but it was not providing an air tight seal necessary to block out the cold winter air. To fix this issue when we encapsulated the crawl space we filled the vent area with insulation and used spray foam insulation to seal the space and prevent air from leaking through. 

This crawl space was obviously quite dusty and with several vents and protrusions to the home above this area the musty smells and dusty air were easily entering the home. DBS Residential Solutions was able to remedy the situation present in this damp crawl space by insulating and encapsulating the entire crawl space. This process separated the home from the dirt floor below.
