A homeowner in Moose Lake, MN reached out to DBS regarding our foundation wall repair service, as well as the basement waterproofing service. They needed an efficient upgrade to the overall basement area, and there were several products needing to be installed. For the waterproofing portion, WaterGuard® was ran along the perimeter of the concrete floor. As for wall support, the crew installed CarbonArmor® to add stabilization along the foundation. The installation was a success, and the homeowner can now enjoy a more efficient basement system.

Design Specialist Jake Gilmer assisted these homeowners in a free no-obligation estimate. It was decided that a SmartJack® Support System would be these best option for this home in order to stabilize the home effectively. 

Foreman Greg Owens led the crew in the installation of this project. The SmartJack® System is made up of a large steel tube that is connected to steel brackets. This system is extremely sturdy and evenly distributes the weight of the structure. This system can also be adjusted in order to level out the supported area to its original position.

These homeowners from Bovey, Minnesota reached out to DBS for help stabilizing their cracked and bowing foundation walls. Luckily wall damage was present and foundation settlement was not. The wall failure indicated that increasing soil pressure over time was damaging the structural integrity of this home. 

DBS Design Specialist, Henrik Makitalo went to the home and provided a free, no-obligation estimate for the work. After inspecting the home and walls Henrik recommended installing PowerBrace™ wall support beams. These steel I-beams come from Supportworks® and offer an immediate wall stabilization solution. This home was repaired by DBS Foreman Nick Burley and his production crew. This Bovey, MN home is not healthy, safe, and comfortable. 

Looking at the white trim around the door you can see that the concrete here has sunken by over an inch. Using PolyLevel we accurately lifted the concrete slab back to its original position matching the base of the trim.
