These homeowners in Moose Lake, MN had an unstable support beam in their basement. They wanted to correct this issue to make their home safer and they wanted it done right, so they turned to DBS for help.

Design Specialist Jake Gilmer assisted these homeowners in a free no-obligation estimate. It was decided that a SmartJack® Support System would be these best option for this home in order to stabilize the home effectively. 

Foreman Greg Owens led the crew in the installation of this project. The SmartJack® System is made up of a large steel tube that is connected to steel brackets. This system is extremely sturdy and evenly distributes the weight of the structure. This system can also be adjusted in order to level out the supported area to its original position. 

These homeowners can now relax in their healthy, stabilized home. 

These homeowners from Bovey, Minnesota reached out to DBS for help stabilizing their cracked and bowing foundation walls. Luckily wall damage was present and foundation settlement was not. The wall failure indicated that increasing soil pressure over time was damaging the structural integrity of this home. 

DBS Design Specialist, Henrik Makitalo went to the home and provided a free, no-obligation estimate for the work. After inspecting the home and walls Henrik recommended installing PowerBrace™ wall support beams. These steel I-beams come from Supportworks® and offer an immediate wall stabilization solution. Looking at the white trim around the door you can see that the concrete here has sunken by over an inch. Using PolyLevel we accurately lifted the concrete slab back to its original position matching the base of the trim.

The home needed to be inspected, and our Design Specialist went to provide a free, no-obligation estimate for the wall repair service. The crew installed the PowerBrace™ Wall Bracing System along the basement wall to help stabilize the wall in hopes of straightening it back to the original position.

The owner of this home in Cromwell, MN noticed that the wall in their basement needed to be repaired. In hopes of finding a solution, they reached out to DBS.

A DBS Design Specialist went to the property to conduct a free no-obligation estimate for the homeowner. After which the design specialist informed the homeowner about the severe degree of bowing in the wall. They generated a quote for our PowerBrace® Wall Bracing System.

A DBS Foreman led the installation of this project with assistance from a crew. Together they installed 9 PowerBrace® i-beams in the basement to stabilize the walls. Each i-beam is affixed to the rim joists of the home with a steel bracket that can be tightened during dry seasons in an attempt to straighten the wall back to its original position. 

Now that the basement has been permanently stabilized, the homeowner can relax with peace of mind.
