This was a unique project. This is the crawlspace of a home in Meridian, MS. Half of the crawlspace was formed into a basement for storage. The basement in this home use to have vents. A few years back an addition was added on to her porch and the conceret covered the vent. This was causing the basement to stay damp, and over time mold began to grow. The home owners daughter reached out to us, concerned with this affecting her mothers health. 

This is the crawlspace of a beautiful home located in Columbus, MS. This customer was dealing with water damage from a busted pipe. We came in and installed a full encapsulation system to prevent any further water damage. To help with the pre-existing water damage we installed a dehumidifier to dry out moisture and keep from future wood rot. 

This vented crawlspace was experiencing humidity problems, causing the floors to swell. There was also a musty smell lingering after water would get inside. Our crew closed off all the vents, preventing outside air from carrying in moisture, and sealed off the rest of the area to keep any future water problems from arising permanently. 

These before and after images demonstrate the impact that excess humidity can have on a crawlspace. In this home, the crawlspace had no vents or fans to help control moisture, creating the perfect environment for mold growth. Left untreated, high humidity and mold can lead to poor air quality, wood deterioration, and structural concerns over time. To restore and protect the space, our production team treated the existing mold with Mold-X before fully encapsulating the crawlspace. The encapsulation system helps seal out moisture, regulate humidity, and create a cleaner, healthier environment beneath the home, giving the homeowner long-term protection against future mold growth.

This crawlspace in Toomsuba was holding moisture and mold, causing buckling floors inside the home. Our team treated the mold and installed our waterproofing encapsulation. This should eventually help the floors settle back down in the home. While we can't guarantee this, we've found they do lay down in most cases. 

Now this crawlspace is cleaned out, free of moisture, and insulated from our encapsulation system.
