Unlike your standard vapor barrier, our CleanSpace Liner doesn't miss a spot in the crawl space! Tightly secured to the floors, walls and supports of the crawl space, it plays a large part in sealing off the underside of the home from the outside, humid air. Combined with our crawl space dehumidifier, a sump pump, and an airtight door, this creates the encapsulation system, perfect for protecting a home from moisture and the dangers it brings.

This crawl space had been left unattended to for quite some time and eventually became a mess. The air was humid, the ground was completely exposed, and insulation was falling all throughout the underside of the home. Many people wouldn't care about how messy a part of their home that no one ever sees is, but when the effects of crawl space moisture start to show themselves, it becomes hard to ignore. The homeowner's floors were starting to buckle badly, and they needed to find a solution. Our encapsulation system is designed to fight moisture from all different sources and angles, keeping the crawl space, clean and dry. With ground moisture blocked and the humidity maintained, these floors are safer than ever. Not to mention how good the crawl space looks!

Both ground moisture and condensation was creating a moisture issue in this crawl space, resulting in an even worse issue with high humidity. There once was an attempt to combat this with a standard vapor barrier, but that did not manage to take care of the issue, and as you can see in the before image, it had resulted in a mess. After a thorough inspection from one of our design specialists, the homeowners decided to let us work our magic and bring in a real and permanent solution. We replaced the old vapor barrier with much a more durable and secure CleanSpace Liner. In the after image, you can also see our dehumidification and sump pump systems, both strategically involved to lower humidity and moisture content, thus lowering risk under the home. Our CleanSpace Liner is a vital part of our overall encapsulation system and really goes above and beyond your standard vapor barrier. This much more durable liner isn't just thrown on top of the crawl space floor, but is wrapped around all of the walls and supports of the crawl space as well. In combination with our drainage matting, ground and wall moisture seepage can be blocked out and collected. This encapsulation was designed by one of our specialists, Scottie, and installed by our foreman, David, and his talented crew!
