Wet Crawlspace in Denham Springs, LA
This crawlspace in Denham Springs was holding water pockets, keeping all the wooden joists and posts wet. Some were rotting from the excess moisture. Henry Bennett performed our free inspection and set up a custom system for their home. Cody and his team installed the final product and they now have a happy, healthy crawlspace!
Before and After Insulation Removal in Denham Springs, LA
We come across soaked and falling insulation all the time in crawl spaces that are dealing with moisture issues. Originally meant to help benefit the floors, this insulation was now holding water and actually speeding up the damage done to the floors. In our process of encapsulating the crawl space, we went ahead and removed all of this old insulation. Moving forward, it'll actually no longer be needed, as the sealed off, encapsulated space acts as its own form of insulation! It is extremely beneficial, but also just looks much nicer. Check out the striking difference our CleanSpace Liner makes on the underside of this home. Our team has it lined on the floor, walls, and up the supports of the crawl space, and while it does make it look pretty, that is not its main purpose. This durable liner is blocking out ground moisture and humidity, keeping the area dry and safe from moisture damage. The water that is prevented from entering the crawl space is directed towards out sump pump with the help of drainage matting, and is sent away from the home. The CleanSpace Liner is stunning in both aesthetics and purpose!
