Bernice has severe cracking and shifting with her concrete slabs in her driveway. There were signs of pitting and flaking from moisture-absorbing into the surface of the concrete as well. Both Bernice and her neighbors were reaching out to various contractors about their concrete, she chose Thrasher due to their reputation. 

For this project, her concrete was lifted using PolyLevel foam. After PolyLevel was used to stabilize the concrete, NexusPro was used to seal all the joints and cracks. After Bernice's initial proposal, a TV advertisement was run in her area, for SealantPro to be included for free with concrete repair. She reached out to our Design Specialist, Bobby Bartow, to see if she could use this discount. Bobby was able to rework Bernice's proposal and get her SealantPro for no additional cost. SealantPro is used to help prevent pitting and flaking of her concrete. Through this 3-part system, Bernice can rest easy about her concrete not causing any further issues. 

Linda and Duane are rental owners in Topeka, KS, and were interested in repairing the concrete on the back patio. System Design Specialist Tom Studer went out to their home. During the inspection, Tom saw that water had gotten underneath the slab and washed out the soil, leaving a void underneath the slab. We used PolyLevel to raise and stabilize the back porch. Linda and Duane are very excited to see that the back patio is now level. 

Weather changes can greatly impact soil consistency which in turn impacts concrete slabs. The slabs can shrink as temperatures drop and expand when they rise. Because of this, concrete slabs should have expansion and contraction joints, if they don't a phenomenon called "Street Creep" can occur. Street Creep happens when roads lengthen over time and push your concrete. To prevent this from damaging your home, we have a solution called CompressionGuard! After previously using Thrasher for other projects, our customer in Omaha, NE wanted to repair her sidewalk leading up to the house. Dry-out spots of the soil underneath the concrete were causing the sidewalk to set and giving tripping concerns to this customer. Our team determined that using PolyLevel foam and NexusPro would be the best solution to solve her concerns. PolyLevel foam fills the void under the concrete and raises the sidewalk back to its original place. After the foam is in place the NexusPro seals and protects the joints not allowing water or any other chemicals under the concrete to cause the same issues in the future. Her sidewalk is now safe to walk on and protected for years to come. 

John and Elda noticed a sinking slab on their back patio was a tripping hazard.  they reached out to us for help because they had worked with Thrasher before and were satisfied with the results. We utilized PolyLevel to lift the slab and patched areas where the old caulking had deteriorated by applying NexusPro. The couple was pleased with the speedy fix of their problems and they appreciated the quality of our solution!
