Support Beam Structure Repair in Longmont, CO

These homeowners recently bought their home and planned to start remodeling it soon. Before their remodel however, they noticed that there were unlevel floors on the second floor. Wanting to ensure that everything would go well with the remodel, they called us.

We sent System Design Specialist Anthony Salcedo to inspect the upstairs floors and determine what the cause of this issue was. Anthony sound that the support beam in the basement has sinking issues and that the floor had heave issues. He found the root cause of this problem to be that the support posts holding up the support beam was failing and needed to be replaced. Anthony and his team got right to work after discussing with the homeowners the best course of action. The team installed SmartJacks and expansion joints to support the basement support beam and ensure that the posts would not move even if the support beam were to heave or sink. This combats the sinking problem, so that the upstairs floor will remain level in the future.

The homeowners were happy with the outcome and the look of them. They can't wait to proceed with their remodel. Check out their support beam lift!

Foundation Repair in Longmont, CO

Jeremy met the Thrasher team at a home show a few months ago. He was interested in purchasing a home but knew it had structural issues. He wanted a professional team to look at the house to figure out what was needed to achieve stabilization for the house to pass inspection.

We sent Anthony Salcedo to the home to look at the foundation. He found that an area of the foundation was settling about an inch into the soil. Anthony knew we needed to develop a solution quickly because Jeremy had a small window before closing on the house.

Our install team was able to lift the house about an inch (to its original position) and close most cracks in the walls by installing helical piers. Helical piers are made of heavy-duty galvanized steel that's resistant to bending. They are advanced or screwed into the soil and support the structure's weight.

Jeremy was very grateful throughout the entire process and impressed with our level of professionalism and execution. Above all else, he was happy we were able to work with him on his schedule and close on his new house in time!

Foundation and Fireplace Separation in Centennial, CO

These homeowners recently purchased their home for their kids and grandkids to live in, however they had some concerns with the foundation and needed to get it fixed. After looking into companies that do foundation repair, they reached out to us for a free estimate.

We sent System Design Specialist Rob Griffin to inspect the home's foundation to determine what was causing the foundation concern. Rob found that the fireplace was pulling away from the house, creating a gap between the outside wall and the chimney. He also saw that the garage was sinking because of weak fill soil that could not hold the weight of these structures. After thoroughly understanding the problem, Rob talked to the homeowners about options to solve this, and they loved how he described the options, so they decided to move forward with us. Our team installed Push Piers to stabilize the home and they were able to fix the problem by leveling the chimney and home.

The homeowners were very happy with the quality of work the crew did on their home. Check out the leveled chimney and home!

Push Piers in Loveland, CO.

Russ M. and his brother own a building that is over one hundred years old. They began to notice there were cracks in the foundation walls, and the floors began to sag. They knew it was time to find a solution to help with their settling building. Foundation begins to crack and settle simply because of the dirt or soil it is sitting on. Over time, soil begins to erode and shift, causing the weight of the structure to shift with the movement as well. This will cause cracking, settling, and even sinking floors.

For this job, Push Piers were installed. This product is made of galvanized steel and allows our team to push down into the earth, to help lift the existing structure. These piers were installed on the inside of the structure, underneath the flooring. Russ and his brother can now rest easy that this one-hundred-year-old building will be preserved for the future.

Front Stoop Sinking Solved in Loveland, CO

These homeowners were concerned about their front stoop as well as their foundation. The knew this problem had gone on for years, however it seemed to be presenting more problem with their flowerbed now, so they wanted to get it fixed. They wanted an honest assessment and solution, so they gave us a call to check out their front stoop.

We sent System Design Specialist Rob Griffin to inspect the front stoop and determine what was causing the problems as well as suggest a custom solution for these homeowners. Rob found that the front stoop was sinking for years, and the problem was worsened because of watering the flowers. He determined that when the homeowners watered their flowers, the soil underneath the flower bed would shrink, allowing for the front stoop to sink. After showing these findings to the homeowner, Rob scheduled an installation appointment with them for custom solutions to fix their settling front stoop.

One of our installation teams came to this home and utilized 2 Helical Piers to lift and stabilize the front stoop. When they finished lifting the front stoop, they used NexusPro sealant to prevent water from getting through the concrete cracks and causing settlement again. The homeowners were so happy with their newly restored front stoop. Check out the lifted and front stoop!
