Bowing Walls In This Old Farmhouse in Bethany, MO

Janet has lived in her home for over 50 years. She also envisions her daughter moving into it in the future. Needless to say, this farmhouse will be in the family for the unforeseeable future. That's why when Janet noticed her unstable basement walls, she knew she had to fix them. She reached out to several foundation repair companies and noted that Thrasher was the only one that took the time to look at the entire foundation and explain precisely why her walls were cracking.

One of our System Design Specialists, Trevor Stokes, went out to her property and found that the south wall of the house was bowing in from soil weight and pressure against it. On top of that, the north half of the home sits on a crawl space, and the beams were sagging from inadequate supports, which made the north side of the crawl space sink. As a result, Janet was experiencing sloping floors, sticking doors, and drywall cracks throughout her home.

We installed EverBrace to stabilize the south wall and prevent it from bowing any further to fix these issues. Then we installed helical piers and SmartJacks in the crawlspace to stabilize the floor and keep the north side of the foundation from sinking any further.

Janet was impressed with how hard the crew worked and how fast they could get it all done, especially considering the team had to make several unique adjustments to the situation.

Concrete leveling and repair in Odessa, MO

The top of the driveway by the garage had sunk along with some cracks forming. The driveway was starting to fall apart. He knew that is he didn't get it fixed now, it would cost more in the future, and this was his forever home.

We used poly-level to lift the slabs along the garage and nexus pro to seal the cracks and the joints. He was over the moon about the finished product and was very pleased about the professionalism of the crews and Thrasher in general.

Crawlspace Repair in Springfield, MO

This home in Springfield, MO was purchased for renovation and repair to be sold in the future.  The buyer noticed that the floor was sagging and the wood posts below were beginning to rot.

We sent out System Design Specialist, Justice, to provide a free, same-day estimate. We determined that installing our Smart Jack system would level the floor above and provide stability to the home.  This leaves a sturdy, permanent fix that actually addresses the issues that caused the floors above the crawl space to sag in the first place.

Sagging Floors Solved in Springfield, MO

These homeowners recently moved into their new home. After being at the home for a couple of months, they noticed some cracks starting in the walls as well as the floor started sagging. They were concerned about maintaining the property value of their home, and they decided that it needed to be fixed. One of their family members had recommended our services a few months ago after they had some work done, so these homeowners decided to give us a call.

We sent System Design Specialist Nick Tiberghien to inspect the floor and wall problem, determine why this was happening, and give a comprehensive solution that would solve these homeowners problems. Nick found that the sagging floors were happening due to a support column sinking directly underneath the home; He also found that the problems were getting worse overtime because there was high humidity in the home's crawlspace which was weakening the support column. After discussing this with the homeowners, Nick reassured them that the floors could be fixed and that one of our installation teams could be there soon to help. When the homeowner's appointment time came around, our installation team came in with our SmartJack System which is used to stabilize and raise the floors up.

The homeowners were so excited to have the installation team fix their floor problem. They said that the floors look and feel a lot better. Check out these homeowner's newly supported support beam in their crawlspace!
