Design Specialist John Prince came to the home and suggested waterproofing the bulkhead. Crew Lead Nick Carelli and his team came to the home and installed a waterproofing system on the bulkhead. They installed a waterproof barrier around the concrete bump-out that the bulkhead is resting on to ensure that no water can enter the basement through the bulkhead anymore.

The polyurethane foam was injected underneath the slabs in the sunken area, filly voids to instantly lift the concrete. After the installation crew leveled the concrete tiling, NexusPro was installed to the joints to seal them. NexusPro is a silicone-based sealant for joints and cracks specially engineered to provide long-lasting flexibility and to stand up to harsh weather conditions. Unlike traditional polyurethane sealants, NexusPro resists UV rays, which means it won't crack, bubble or dry.
