With a heavy, steady rainfall, this Lincoln University foundation would leak water into the unfinished basement. Our solution for this wet basement issue was to install a CleanSpace vapor barrier on the bottom portion of the wall, we also installed our WaterGuard drainage system along with a SuperSump pump with battery back up and a SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier.

This walkout basement had water leaks on several walls. We installed a WaterGuard drainage system and connected it to the SuperSump System. This SuperSump includes an UltraSump battery back-up, which runs on a high-capacity 120 amp power pack. If you lose power, the UltraSump turns on automatically and an alarm sounds to alert you that you are on backup. With a new, fully charged power pack, the UltraSump is capable of pumping out 12,000 total gallons at 2,018 gallons per hour.

Recently, a homeowner in West Grove, PA, reached out to us at Quality 1st. They were facing persistent basement water seepage, leading to damp conditions and recurring mildew smells. We recommended a robust waterproofing system tailored to their home, ensuring a comprehensive approach to keeping their basement dry. The strategy we implemented included installing a TripleSafe Sump Pump system, WaterGuard, and CleanSpace encapsulation. First, our production team carefully exposed a segment of the basement floor to set down the WaterGuard drainage system. This discreet system channels water invisible to the eye, effectively guiding it away from the surrounding foundation towards the sump pump. Next, our team installed the TripleSafe Sump Pump, known for its reliability and triple protection features, providing peace of mind by efficiently pumping water away even during heavy rainfall or power outages. Moreover, for added protection, we employed our CleanSpace encapsulation, lining the basement walls with heavy-duty material designed to block all moisture entry. This seamless system not only enhances durability but also improves energy efficiency and air quality throughout the home.

This home had builder-grade fiberglass insulation on the basement walls. Fiberglass is organic and, therefore, not a good product to place against damp walls. The moisture content in the insulation will cause mold and drastically lower the R values, making it almost useless. We removed the bad insulation and installed FoaMax insulation boards. FoamMax will properly insulate this basement and also act as a vapor barrier. In addition to being a much better way to insulate foundation walls, they also look great and brighten up the whole basement.

This customer had an old out dated basement that they recently gutted and now wanted to remodel. They reached out to our company in need of help of bringing their visions of a usable, multipurpose room, to life. We sent our finishing specialist out to this property to provide material samples and work with the homeowners to come up with an open basement concept, they both agree on. 

For this project, we did a complete ceiling install, we put up our TBF EverLast Wall system around the perimeter of this basement, as well as painted the wall system, and finally, we installed our Elite Plank- Walnut flooring all throughout.
