Concerned about the structural integrity of their home, they reached out to our team for professional assessment and repair. Our specialists conducted a thorough inspection to evaluate the extent of the damage and identify the underlying causes, including soil conditions and support deficiencies.

Based on the findings, we designed a customized repair plan focused on installing our patented SmartJack Support System. An existing customer of ours had referred us to Deborah from Stanhope, NJ, who noticed large stair step cracking in the exterior of her foundation. We sent Senior Design Specialist, Joe, out to inspect the foundation and design a solution that would stabilize the foundation permanently.

Joe explained that cracks form when the soil beneath your home is no longer strong enough to support the foundation, and therefore when the foundation shifts, cracks form from the movement. Ignoring cracks in a foundation will only increase the chances of the foundation becoming unstable and unsafe. Joe designed a solution where 16 Push Piers would be installed on the outside of the foundation, deep in the strong soil, to transfer the weight of the home to the piers to prevent further settling and movement.

A New Jersey couple was purchasing this Ewing house when their realtor noticed that there was a bowing wall in the cinderblock foundation. Quality 1st Basement Systems inspected the basement and noted two horizontal cracks that run about 10 to 14 feet across the basement. The installation team installed Wall Anchors to stabilize the wall and will straighten the wall over time so that it can return to its original position.
