Our System Design Specialist, Dane Cuccinello, provided an inspection and suggested they use a wall reinforcement system. Our crew installed our CarbonArmor Wall Reinforcement System, which is made from a fiber-reinforced polymer that is 10 times stronger than steel. The reinforcement straps are attached to the wall and secured with steel brackets. This system provides peace of mind since it stabilizes the basement wall, preventing future movement. 

This crawl space in Williamstown, New Jersey had unstable floor joist in their all dirt crawl space. John Maas, a System Design Specialist for Quality 1st Basement Systems recommended our SmartJack Support System to provide additional support to the sagging floor joist. Securing each wooden floor joist in place prevents movement to the flooring above which will prevent any gapping in the molding.

To permanently stabilize the foundation, we installed our GeoLock Wall Anchor System, which uses heavy-duty steel anchors to secure the bowing walls and gradually restore them to their original position. To combat water seepage, our crew added our TripleSafe Sump Pump System, providing triple-layer protection and continuous drainage even during power outages. Finally, we installed our SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier to control humidity levels and prevent mold, odors, and future moisture buildup.

When the homeowner noticed vertical cracks in their basement wall they called Quality 1st to do the job. System Design Specialist, Ken Peare, did a full inspection of the basement to make sure that these cracks were the only cracks in the foundation of the home. Foreman, Melvin Cardoza, installed FlexiSpan into the cracks sealing them to prevent water from coming through. First bead of Sealant is placed inside the crack to stop crack leakage. A FlexiSpan Foam Drain Strip is then placed over  as a second form of protection against water leakage through the first seal, followed by the permanent seal overlay.
