Before and after we installed our basement waterproofing system in this once finished basement that was experiencing issues with water intrusion. 

A homeowner in Wappingers Falls, NY was dealing with water intrusion in their basement and wanted a way to keep the water out. They contacted our team at The Basement Transformer to see how we could help. Our specialist proposed installing our WaterGuard System paired with our TripleSafe Sump Pump System. These two products working together ensure that any water coming into the basement would be transported out and away from the home.

Our WaterGuard System is a drainage system that is designed to collect any water seeping through your walls. The built in wall flange that extends up the basement wall at 3/8” directs the water leaking through your walls into the WaterGuard System. The water that is collected is then directed to the TripleSafe Sump Pump System. This system provides the ultimate protection against floods because it features three lines of defense. It is equipped with two cast iron Zoeller horsepower pumps capable of discharging thousands of gallons of water from your home. Attached to this sump pump system is the UltraSump Battery Backup System. This device ensures that your sump pump continues to run in the event of pump failure or a power outage. With both products installed, this homeowner’s basement was now protected from water intrusion.

We totally transformed these walls inside a basement located in Wappingers Falls, NY. They were leaking and letting water slowly seep into the basement. We solved this problem by covering the walls with our BrightWall Basement Wall Panels and installing our interior drainage system known as the WaterGuard System. The BrightWall Basement Wall Panels create a vapor barrier on the walls and prevent humidity and water vapor from being able to pass through. These 100% waterproof, rigid plastic panels ensure that the homeowner does not have to worry about mold growth, and they also make the walls look clean and bright!

The WaterGuard System works in conjunction with the BrightWall Basement Panels. The panels help direct any water seeping through the walls into the WaterGuard System. The WaterGuard System collects the water using its built-in wall flange. With both products installed, the homeowner no longer has to worry about their basement walls allowing water to find its way into the basement.

To deal with the leaking walls in this homeowner’s basement out in Rhinebeck, NY we installed our WaterGuard System and a strip of our CleanSpace Wall System alongside it. The WaterGuard System is a perimeter drainage system that helps to collect any incoming water from the walls thanks to its built-in wall flange. The CleanSpace Wall System is a vapor barrier that helps to funnel the water from the walls directly into the WaterGuard System.
