Carbon armor straps were installed to stabilize the customer's basement wall because they provide a cost-effective and minimally invasive solution to reinforce and prevent further movement or cracking. The straps are made of high-strength carbon fiber, which is resistant to stretching and can effectively counteract the pressure exerted on the wall by soil or other external forces. This method is ideal for addressing structural issues without requiring extensive excavation or reconstruction.

When problems with the foundation of this home occurred, the change in pressure and support resulted in cracking walls. These type of block walls, when the home starts to shift, crack easily and after we supported the foundation with piers, we were able to lift the home and release the pressure. This lift closed the cracked wall and released the stress put on it.
