Basement Waterproofing Company in Ft Mitchell, Kentucky
The basement in this home in Fort Mitchell, KY was moldy, wet, and dusty. We offered to install our waterproofing system for the homeowner, and they agreed. Our system included our WaterGuard subfloor drains, our SuperSump sump pump, and our CleanSpace vapor barrier walls. We love when our customers opt in for the white CleanSpace walls because not only do they look great for photos, they also provide support to the drainage system. The vapor barrier allows water to flow down from the walls into the drains beneath the floor, keeping musty water smells out from your living area. The vapor barrier also makes for a great pre basement finishing product as it can protect drywall and other types of walls from water damage. Even if you don't plan on finishing your basement, the vapor barrier can stand alone as a beautiful, clean, reflective wall, covering all the cracks, stains, and dirt.
Basement Repair Services in Fairfield, Ohio
This poured foundation in Fairfield, Ohio, had a large horizontal crack running across one of the basement walls — a clear sign of inward bowing caused by soil pressure. The homeowner wanted to address both the structural issue and the occasional water seepage that had started appearing along the floor.
To stabilize the foundation, we installed our PowerBrace™ system, a set of zinc-coated steel I-beams that are anchored to the floor and joists to permanently support the wall and even allow for gradual straightening over time.
Along the perimeter, we installed our WaterGuard® subfloor drainage system, which captures water at the footing level and directs it to a sump pump before it can reach the basement floor. While not visible in the photos, we also added a SuperSump® system, known for its high-capacity performance and clean, sealed design.
This basement is now structurally sound, dry, and ready for long-term peace of mind — be sure to scroll through the photos to see the transformation.
Sump Pump Installation in Fairfield, Ohio
We installed a partial waterproofing system for this home in Fairfield, OH, to keep a vulnerable section of the basement safe from leaks. You can see we installed our SuperSump Plus sump pump with an UltraSump battery backup system as well. Our SuperSump Plus has our biggest sump basin with an airtight lid, an alarm system, and an airtight floor drain. It also contains a 1/3 HP Zoeller pump. You may also notice that we wrapped the foundation wall with our vapor barrier, which will help channel wall leaks down into the subfloor drainage system, which is concealed underneath the fresh concrete. The homeowner was happy to know this part of their basement is safe from water damage.
Basement Waterproofing Company in Independence, Kentucky
The buyer and seller of this home in Independence, KY, decided to split the cost of this waterproofing project. Our Real Estate Inspector, Donny, was able to help guide this transaction and project for a seamless operation. We installed a full interior perimeter waterproofing system for the basement consisting of our WaterGuard subfloor drains and our SuperSump sump pump. The basement was leaking at the coves of the poured foundation, so our WaterGuard subfloor drains will do a great job at intercepting built up water around the coves of the basement. Now that the basement is protected, the new homeowner can transform their basement however which way they please.
Basement Waterproofing Company in Lewisburg, Ohio
This homeowner in Lewisburg, OH, wanted their sump pump replaced, as it was not performing to the expectations of the homeowner. It's open pit was allowing moisture to seep back into the basement, and it was constantly running. We replaced their inefficient sump pump with our TripleSafe sump pump system. Our TripleSafe comes with a battery backup system, seen to the right of the pump in the after photo. The TripleSafe also has three pumps, two discharge lines, a moisture proof lid, and an alarm system. The TripleSafe will do a much better job at keeping water away from this home, all while being way more energy efficient.
