Basements that have a lot of water built up around their foundation will likely experience two problems: Bowed walls & water intrusions. Unfortunately for this homeowner in Dayton, KY, they were experiencing these problems. We fixed both problems by installing our interior perimeter waterproofing system and our steel I-beam wall repair system. The steel I-Beams we use are called PowerBraces and are not your average I-beams. They are super strong and corrosion resistant, they are able to straighten walls out over time, and were designed to prevent floor joist damage. They can even be fitted with our WaterGuard subfloor drainage system, as seen in the photo below. After installing our two systems, the basement walls were relieved of tremendous amounts of pressure.

A 100-year-old home was having issues with water seeping into the basement. After meeting with us, the homeowner decided on our BrightWall paneling system, our WaterGuard subfloor drainage system, and our SuperSump premier sump pump system - equipped with an UltraSump battery backup system - to resolve the problems in the basement. 

BrightWall panels are used to cover the walls and will also help drain any wall leaks into the WaterGuard basement waterproofing system. The WaterGuard intercepts the water and drains it into the sump pump system. The SuperSump premier sump pump will remove the water from the basement at an elite rate. The UltraSump is the battery back-up pump system, and will turn on if there is ever a pump or power failure.

These systems working together will create a dry, comfortable basement that can be used without worries of water intrusion. The bright white color really brightens up the basement. Look at the difference this has made in this basement. 

This large basement was having some issues with the snowy weather. The walls were also leaking a lot of cold air into the home. We installed our waterproofing system along with our Basement to Beautiful panels to fix both issues. This foundation was 100 years old, made of stone, and had no sump pump. Concerned with moisture issues, the owner of this home in Fort Thomas, KY, decided to give us a call to learn more about our system. After explaining to them about our interior perimeter waterproofing system, we then told them about our CleanSpace wall system. We like to recommend our CleanSpace vapor barrier system for old stone foundations, (and for other types of foundations) for a of couple reasons; Firstly, this vapor barrier is able to conform to uneven stone surfaces due to its flexible nature. Secondly, CleanSpace fits right into our subfloor drainage system - allowing the walls to channel leaks straight down into the drains we install underneath the floor slab. Last but not least, the walls look great, are super durable, and they are made of a patented formula that won't allow mold growth. This basement in West Chester, OH, had a failing exterior waterproofing system. The footer drains that were placed in the soil when the home was first built had clogged in spots, and the sump pump was struggling to properly manage the water. As we see with a lot of exterior waterproofing systems, the footer drains do a poor job at keeping soil out of the system, and when the soil reaches the sump pump, the sump pump fails to run efficiently, causing the sump pump to run when it shouldn't and quickly deteriorate. Both of these problems allowed water to enter throughout the coves in the basement and up through the sump pump itself. We replaced their existing system with our patented interior system including our WaterGuard subfloor drains and our SuperSump sump pump. Our interior drains sit directly on top of the footing and are installed from the inside, ensuring soil and dirt stays out of the system. The homeowner was happy with the upgrade.
