The problem with this is that the concrete does not allow water to get in from under the floor. Omni Basement Systems installed the Supersump. The Supersump comes with a perforated liner, a Zoeller cast-iron pump, a water watch alarm, an airtight floor drain and an airtight lid.

Two pump run off the household AC power and the third is a battery back-up system.

WaterGuard is installed under the basement floor along the perimeter walls and is drained to a sump pump. To make sure there are never leaks from a future wall crack, a membrane is installed on the wall. The Cleanspace wall system acts as a vapor retarder.
