A cottage in Humphrey, Ontario, had many structural issues. Clarke Basement Systems was called to not only fix the inside damages but also the exterior structural issues. We straightened and permanently stabilized the wall with Geolock™ Wall Anchors. The customer no longer has to worry about the foundation of the cottage. 

Our patented SmartJack™ System lifts the sunken beams in the crawlspace and fixes customers sagging floors. 

The home's support beams were sinking, so the floors inside began to as well! Our patented SmartJack™ system resolved the issue permanently for the customers newly purchased home. 

A basement in Douro Dummer, Ontario, had issues with the basement walls. The Block Foundation walls were bowing in, and it could have caused possible Structural collapse of the foundation. The homeowner did not want further damage to the home and knew they would not be able to sell the house without fixing it. 

They called Clarke Basement Systems to find a fix for this issue. Shane O’Rourke, Luke Haverkort and the Foundation Supportworks team came in and used PowerBrace™ patented foundation wall repair system designed to stabilize failing basement walls and allow for potential straightening over time. They also installed CarbonArmor®; a carbon fibre strap conceived especially for buckling block foundation walls to keep the wall from moving again. This customer saved 10’s of thousands of dollars in common wall and or foundation replacement and preserved the value of the home!

For a customer in Fenelon Falls, Ontario, fresh air wasn’t all she was smelling. A broken, old sump pump was causing quite a stench in her cottage crawl space. The odour was spreading throughout the whole cottage and had become the main talking point when guests came to visit. 

System Design Specialist Ryan Hanlon created a full waterproofing system for the customer that included a SmartSump® Sump Pump and an UltraSump® Battery Backup. Foreman Lucio Flores and his crew installed the products, removing not just water from the crawl space, but the musty smell too.

The customer is delighted that her cottage smells fresh once again. Her basement is waterproofed for many years to come, with a warranty too!
