This homeowner in Staunton contacted Fortress Foundatin Solutions because they had some concerns about their foundation. There was a huge crack running along the outside brick.

Fortress solved this problem by installing fourteen Push Piers. Push Piers feature a patent-pending external sleeve that strengthens the pier at the critical tension point below the bracket. They are installed next to the footings and attached with a heavy duty steel bracket. Soil is backfilled around the piers once stabilization and lifting is complete to finish the installation. 

This home was recently purchased by a sweet couple who are fixing up this home for their daughter. They knew that there was a bowing wall that needed to be immediately addressed for the safety of the home. Our System Designer went out to assess this home and determined that the best solution would be to install the GeoLock Wall Anchors. The GeoLock Anchors is designed to stabilize failing basement walls. These anchors will stabilize the wall in its current position and prevent any further cracking and bowing. This homeowner can now rest assured knowing that their foundation walls are supported and stabilized!
