This homeowner in Fulton, Maryland had an issue with the front porch cracking due to its foundation settlement. The homeowner wanted to restore the porch and ensure that it was safe from further issues caused by settlement. They called Fortress Foundation Solutions for a permanent solution. Our system designer prescribed our Helical Piers to stabilize the sinking porch. Helical Piers have helical plates welded to the pier shaft to help to pull the pier into the soil during installation and provide anchoring strength as the weight of the foundation or structural element is transferred to the pier. One of our crews soon went out to install the system. Once the porch was stabilized, we used our NexusPro Joint Sealant to fill in the cracks and restore the porch's aesthetic. The homeowners can no enjoy their porch again without worry!

Lance R. of Marriottsville, MD had an addition on his home that was sagging and beginning to pull away from the original structure. He called Fortress Foundation Solutions for help! System Designer Kurtis Toppert performed a thorough inspection and provided a free estimate for the solution for additional foundation support. Lance agreed and soon foreman Michael and his crew were on site installing Smart Jack XT’s. These are still beams installed to provide extra support. Mary and John of Jessup, MD, noticed their basement walls bowing more and more. There was a horizontal crack at the top of the basement wall. Our System Designer, Caleb Stone, went out to their home, found the water seeping into the basement through the walls, and designed a solution himself for the issue. When our Foreman, Andre Luck (better known as "Lucky"), and his crew went out to fix the issue, they used the CleanSpace Wall Systems on the walls, as well as our WaterGuard drainage solution on the floor below to ensure that any water that was collected drained to the TripleSafe Sump Pump, which was then transferred to the discharge line outside of the home.
