Erin was experiencing water intrusion in one corner of her basement. Wanting to prevent further moisture problems and protect her home, she contacted Fortress Foundation Solutions for a free inspection.

Cope and his crew installed a targeted waterproofing system, including WaterGuard waterproofing system, a TripleSafe sump pump, and CleanSpace Wall along the affected area. As shown in the after photo, the system now captures and redirects water before it reaches the basement floor, keeping the space dry and protected from future water intrusion.

We strive to fix every home with top of the line materials! This client called Fortress Foundation Solutions about water collecting in their basement. Our System Designer, Caleb Stone, went out to their home, found the water seeping into the basement through the walls, and designed a solution himself for the issue. When our Foreman, Andre Luck (better known as "Lucky"), and his crew went out to fix the issue, they used the CleanSpace Wall Systems on the walls, as well as our WaterGuard drainage solution on the floor below to ensure that any water that was collected drained to the TripleSafe Sump Pump, which was then transferred to the discharge line outside of the home. 

Randall was experiencing water intrusion in the basement of his Wirtz home, with water entering through the seam where the concrete floor met the block walls. Erin, a homeowner in Middlebrook, VA, had been dealing with water intrusion in their basement for years. After hearing that their neighbor had trusted Fortress Foundation Solutions to solve a similar issue - and was thrilled with the results - Erin decided to give us a call.

Bill, one of our experienced System Designers, conducted a comprehensive inspection of the home and developed a customized solution. For the basement, he recommended our WaterGuard® interior drainage system, which was tied into a SuperSump Plus™ system to effectively collect and remove water before it could reach the living space.

The project also included the home's connected crawl space, which required a complete encapsulation. Our crew removed the existing insulation and debris, sealed the stacked stone walls with spray foam, installed SilverGlo™ wall insulation, laid drainage matting throughout the crawl space, and encapsulated the area with our durable CleanSpace® vapor barrier. To control humidity year-round, two SaniDry Sedona dehumidifiers were installed, along with a dedicated crawl space sump pump for additional water protection.

Thanks to this comprehensive waterproofing and encapsulation system, Erin now has a dry, healthy, and protected basement and crawl space that will provide peace of mind for years to come. 

During a light rainstorm passing through Staunton, Virginia, Ms. Baker went downstairs to her finished, carpeted basement and ended up with wet socks. Her basement had flooded.

She Googled “wet basement repair” in her area and called us at Fortress Foundation Solutions. System Designer Joe went out to inspect the source of the water and found groundwater seepage pushing its way through the floor/wall joints. He put together a repair plan, and not too long after, we sent Gustavo and his crew out to take care of the job.

They started by removing the ruined paneling along the walls. Then, they jackhammered the floor around the perimeter and installed our WaterGuard system. After that, they laid clean crushed stone around the WaterGuard and resealed the floor with concrete.

They also covered the walls with our CleanSpace Wall System to prevent any moisture from seeping through the porous concrete walls. They finished off the job by tying everything into a TripleSafe sump pump system and left Ms. Baker’s basement clean, dry, and healthier than when they first arrived!
