West Virginia homeowner Jim had recently built his home on his family’s land. Shortly after moving in full time, he noticed that substantial rainstorms created major puddles near his front door. Beyond the inconvenience of wet shoes, Jim knew the standing water could lead to serious damage over time.

He called Fortress for an inspection, and System Designer Riley arrived on the scene. Riley found no signs of water intrusion inside the Martinsburg home, he identified the potential for water to continue building up near the foundation.

The solution was an exterior drainage system installed around the patio to collect the puddling water and discharge it 32 feet away from the foundation - helping keep the home protected for years to come. 

In Clear Spring, Maryland, a homeowner was tired of dealing with a wet basement and finally decided to call Fortress Foundation Solutions.

Skylar was the System Designer assigned to the home and completed a full, comprehensive evaluation of the property. After his inspection, he recommended a complete waterproofing solution consisting of WaterGuard, our interior drainage system, a TripleSafe sump pump system, a Sedona sani dry and Foamax wall insulation to help insulate the basement while providing a clean, finished appearance.

Nicholas and his crew followed Skylar's proposal and completed the project efficiently in just two days. The homeowner now has a dry, healthier basement and greater peace of mind knowing the space is protected from future water intrusion.

Dianne noticed after some recent heavy rain that water was making it's way into her basement. We love seeing clean, dry crawl spaces! This particular homeowner, whose crawl space was already encapsulated, noticed a musty smell coming from his crawl space, and when our System Designer, Paul Heckman, went down there, he found that water was seeping into the crawl space through the insulated walls, and designed a solution. Our Foreman, Charlie Evans, and his crew went in and removed some of the old insulation, and replaced it with our own SilverGlo Insulation. They lined the crawl space with our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier, and installed one of our SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier to ensure that our client's home stays clean and dry! No more musty smells for this homeowner!
