Before: Sagging Floors and Bowing Basement Walls

A homeowner in Montello, WI reached out to Sure-Dry after noticing two troubling issues: the floors above their crawl space were bouncy and uneven, and their basement walls were beginning to bow inward with visible cracking. Seasonal soil movement and years of structural stress had taken a toll, putting the home's stability—and value—at risk.

The home needed more than a cosmetic fix. It required structural reinforcement from the ground up.

Sure-Dry designed and installed a dual-system solution to address both crawl space and wall support:

• SmartJack Support Posts were installed beneath the floor joists to lift and stabilize the sagging areas above the crawl space.

• PowerBrace Wall Reinforcement Beams were anchored along the basement walls to immediately stop inward movement and allow for gradual straightening over time.

The installation was fast, precise, and minimally invasive. The floors were firm and level once again, and the basement walls were stabilized for the long term.

After noticing cracks in the bricks around their home, they decided to call the experts at Sure-Dry to have a look at their foundation.

Once our team arrived at their home, we knew what the problem was. The soil beneath the home wasn't strong enough to support the weight of the home so it began to sink. To fix this problem, we installed our Helical Piers which are dug down deep into the Earth and rest on hard, compacted soil.

In the before photo from Stevens Point, WI, you'll notice a severely settled and cracked concrete driveway slab. This posed functionality issues and compromised both safety and aesthetics for the homeowner. Our expert team at Sure-Dry tackled this using cutting-edge PolyLevel® and NexusPro® systems. The high-strength polyurethane foam was precisely injected through small holes to lift and level the slabs with pinpoint accuracy. Voids beneath the surface were stabilized while NexusPro ensured long-term sealing of cracks and joints, preventing future water-induced damage. The after photo showcases the transformation—stable, safe, and attractive.

Recently a homeowner decided they'd like to start finishing their basement in Rothschild, WI and reached out to Sure-Dry to schedule an egress window install.  Knowing that an egress was required by code, they wanted to know that things would be handled perfectly and thus why they chose Sure-Dry.  In a short half-day project we were able to install this access point for their basement.  Compare the before and after picture to see the finished product!
