Ice Guard Sump Pump Discharge Line Installed in Green Bay, WI
Ice Guard was installed on a sump pump discharge line to prevent water exiting the sump pump from freezing. Sump pump discharge lines are fed outside the home, meaning it's possible they could freeze during the cold winter months. A backed-up discharge line means your sump pump won't work properly in the event of water in your basement, which will make the flooding much worse. Our solution to this problem is the IceGuard® discharge line system.
The IceGuard® fits over the top of your discharge line to provide water with a secondary escape route. When the main line is working correctly, water simply flows out as usual. However, when the discharge line is frozen, the IceGuard® allows water to escape through slotted openings in the drain pipe. This ensures that any water your sump pump is removing from your basement is safely cleared away outside your home, preventing any backed up or frozen lines. The IceGuard® is compatible with all our sump pump systems.
Damp Basement Receives new Dehumidifier Installed in Green Bay, WI
Before: Even with two sump pumps and a Sure-Dry waterproofing system in place, this Green Bay basement still had elevated humidity and musty odors. The excess moisture created a damp environment that limited the homeowner’s use of the space and raised concerns about potential mold and material damage.
After: Sure-Dry installed a Sedona dehumidifier to provide high-capacity, energy-efficient humidity control. The Sedona automatically drains into the existing waterproofing system, requiring no manual emptying, and continuously filters the air to remove moisture and particulates.
This upgrade now keeps the basement air fresh, dry, and healthy—protecting the homeowner’s investment and improving the overall performance of their waterproofing system for lasting comfort and peace of mind.

Historic Home gets Wet Basement Repair in Green Bay, WI
Before:
Built in 1897 and originally operating as Green Bay’s first grocery store, this historic property was constructed with a traditional rock foundation that had begun allowing moisture through gaps between the stones. Seasonal snowmelt and heavy rainfall in Northeast Wisconsin created seepage at the floor-wall joint, contributing to musty odors and damp conditions commonly found in older stone foundations across Brown County.
After:
To preserve the home’s historical character while resolving the moisture problem, the crew installed a WaterGuard® interior drainage system along the base of the rock walls to collect seepage discreetly and prevent water from reaching the basement floor. The stone surfaces were lined with CleanSpace® vapor barrier to isolate moisture and create a clean, controlled wall system suitable for aging masonry. A TripleSafe® sump pump system was added for reliable, triple-redundant pumping performance ideal for Wisconsin’s fluctuating groundwater conditions.
The homeowners now have a dry, protected basement that maintains the integrity and legacy of one of Green Bay’s earliest commercial buildings.
