A homeowner in Westbrook, CT expressed interest in waterproofing his basement. Searching for a waterproofing expert to provide peace of mind, he reached out to Connecticut Basement Systems.

Making contact with Sales Representative Mike Bourdeau, the homeowner scheduled a free in-home consultation. Once Bourdeau arrived at the home, he began measuring the basement, creating a map and labeling potential locations for a sump pump. Following his visit to the home, Bourdeau provided the homeowner with a detailed proposal documenting potential waterproofing solutions.

With the proposal approved by the homeowner, Foreman Delfino Mones and his team arrived on-site to begin the installation process. Three systems were installed: our WaterGuard French drain system, CleanSpace vapor barrier, and TripleSafe sump pump system. These three systems work in tandem to mitigate moisture, expelling any excess water to a safe location outside the home. 

Once the install was complete, the homeowner felt much more confident in his basement's ability to mitigate moisture!

A homeowner in Westbrook, CT was getting water seepage in their basement from the walls and below the floors. They called us at Connecticut Basement Systems in search of a permanent solution. One of our Sales Consultants, Bret Citrin, visited the home to assess the basement and present a permanent solution. 

Soon after, it would be time for one of our Foremen, Cisco Berrios, and his team to install the proposed job. They installed our WaterGuard drainage system to tackle the water seepage from the walls and floors by collecting the water through perimeter drains. Then they installed our TripleSafe sump pump to take the collected water and pump it out of the home safely. Finally, our Sedona dehumidifier adds an extra layer of protection by eliminating moisture and preventing mold growth. 

With our systems in place, this entire basement will stay completely dry. The homeowner is left with peace of mind and a dry basement. 

Before, this Hebron, CT basement had been damaged from moisture leaking in through its old basement walls. To make matters worse, the home’s water heater and other mechanical units often caused condensation, and sent more water dripping onto the ground. Soon after, Sales Representative Bryan Buckley traveled to the home to help formulate a solution. 

After, Connecticut Basement Systems Foreman Marcial Lopez installed CleanSpace vapor barrier to the walls, which brightens up the basement walls and prevents moisture from entering the basement from outside. A Trench Drain was also installed around the water heater to help rid the basement of moisture resulting from condensation. Now, the homeowner can rest easy knowing that his basement is protected from water leaks and excess moisture.

A homeowner in Hebron called us and said they had a shifting and settling foundation that they wanted us to repair. We sent out one of our Sales Consultants, Tim Kane, to the home to assess the issues and propose a solution that will solve this problem for good! 

One of our Foremen, Sergio Alves, and his helper Jacob Scott, would tackle the installation of this job. This job required push piers. They installed multiple around the outside of the home. These piers get installed below the foundation footing where they drive steel piers into the ground to lift the home into place and stabilize it. Once it is lifted and stabilized to a certain pressure that the homeowner is satisfied with, then the crew caps off each push pier bracket. Now this home is stable and has lifted into position. 

This homeowner in Andover, CT was struggling with water in their basement. They decided to call us at Connecticut Basement Systems to find a solution for their water problem. After scheduling an appointment, one of our Sales Consultants, Mike Bourdeau, went out to the home to see what was going on. He then proposed a proper solution for the issue. 

This job would be best for one of our Foremen, Cisco Berrios, and his crew. They would begin by installing a perimeter WaterGuard drainage system. This would go below the floor to collect any water coming in from the floors or walls. This would then get drained into the TripleSafe sump pump that they installed. Then the TripleSafe would pump out all that water through a discharge line at a safe distance from the home. This means no more water in the basement and the customer is happy with the results!
