In the before photo you can see a diagonal crack starting at the corner of the basement window. That is a clear sign of foundation settlement. If this problem were to go untreated, the wall could cave in leaving the home above unsupported. Knowing this was a serious problem these homeowners called Woods Basement Systems for a free estimate to correct the issue. After inspecting the home, our system design specialist was able to create a custom solution to permanently correct the problem. In the after photo you can see one of the Geo-Lock wall anchors that were installed to secure this basement. A total of seven anchors through out the basement was needed to properly stop any further settlement. This Highland, Illinois home suffered damage from foundation cracks. Woods Basement Systems stabilized the foundation walls with a wall anchor system.

Foreman Todd from Woods Basement Systems, Inc. installed the Geo-Lock Wall Anchor system in Highland IL homeowner's basement to prevent further wall failure and help realign the walls to their original structure. 

These basement walls were moving and had developed cracks within the foundation. Over time this troubled wall had only worsened with time. To address the walls, Team Woods installed Geo-Lock wall anchors into the walls to reinforce and stabilize them.

A new basement window was also installed to keep outdoor elements out. To support the foundation, PowerBrace was installed.
